Out of all Joker's incarnations, The Batman certainly seems to have the most physically imposing aspect. It's the only Joker I'm aware of that's fought him straight up in hand to hand. Of course, I haven't been able to keep up with all Joker's material, so I could be wrong here.

That Harley's pretty nice looking, but nothing can trump classic Quinn. She Rocks with a capital ROCKS. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think he is my favorite Joker ๐Ÿ™‚ Heath was great, but The Batman Joker might take the price ๐Ÿ˜›

It's too bad he's also one of the shittiest incarnations of the Joker.

Also, in the comics, Joker's H2H abilities vary quite a bit.

Is it safe to say everyone here wants to do Harley Quinn?

Very safe. Harely was my childhood crush...

Also, Joker in the series Harley was introduced in went toe to toe with bats on a few occasions.

Wasn't that TAS? Loved that series, they did very little, if anything, wrong with it.

A digression but slightly off-topic, how's Harley look in Arkham Asylum? I thought I saw shots of her sporting a blond do. If that's the case, I will be sad. ๐Ÿ™

well... i dont want to do harley quinn.

but michael jae white... ๐Ÿ˜

Anyway, on the subject of Jokers.

Hamill > Comics > Nicholson = Ledger = Romero > The Batman

Hamill will always be the greatest for me. He nails everything for me, voice, mannerisms, laugh, and fun. Whether he's winning or losing, everything's a game. And best of all, he has an incredible, powerful death scene.

The comics Joker is obviously the quintessential Joker, but I rank him below Hamill's because different writers make him a vastly different character across the board. Some are amazing, such as in The Killing Joke, others... not so much.

Nicholson, Ledger, and Romero offer different parts of the Joker, but not the whole image. Nicholson is a fun-loving killer, but he doesn't quite hit insane for me, and there isn't as much getting into others' heads as I'd like. Ledger gets the Joker's essential brutality down, but rather misses the mark in actually enjoying the entire thing. He's trying to send a message, but the Joker isn't about sending messages: He's about doing whatever his diseased mind tells him he enjoys. Romero... was a whole other time, and for that 60s style, he's amazing. If you haven't seen him in action, looking him up now. It's incredible.

The Batman's Joker... no. Just no. I despise the simian reinterpretation. Every Joker before him had a certain sense of class and twisted propriety. This one... I hated utterly.

Hamill is TAS? Isn't that Luke? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I can't remember.

You've earned my respect forever, sir. I agree with this 100%, minus the Romero thing, Ididn't think he was great. Still, awesome.

EDIT: Yes Xanatos, Luke played Joker, ever notice in Mad Love he says "May the floss be with you!", and runs off laughing maniacly?
