I don't think Jack ever did defeat Aku, I think at one point a movie was planned not 100% sure on that, but Mako (Aku's voice actor) died in 2006 so...

Sadly so, tbh he made Aku what he was, he really brought the character to life!

Of course. 😛 I just recently saw the episode on Boomerang where Aku deceived Jack by disguising himself as that girl named Ikra, as well as some other repeat episodes. Good stuff. Only reason I watch TV anymore.

The first time I saw that episode, I realized that right at the beginning, that chick was Aku. It's friggin obvious and Jack is actually dumb enough to believe that's someone else. I know there are many alien races in Samurai Jack but normally you don't see any green skinned women. Not unless it's Star Trek.

Yeah. Not to mention, Ikra's sword was dark/black like Aku. I was surprised Jack didn't realize she was Aku when she turned giant against that 6-armed creature at the end. 😛

I think my favorite episode was the one where Jack got involved in that "gang" to get the Neptune Jewel (secretly so he could meet Aku again and destroy him when giving the jewel). I don't know why, but I loved the voice of that short guy (the gang leader) who would always say "Yeah, see?". haermm

The one new character is kind/sorta hawt.

Right now there's a bunch of white trees roaming around some city.

I don't even know who these two people are, but I find the chick incredibly annoying already. I'm sure the guy will get on my nerves in a minute or two here.

I give the movie a 7.5/10. At least the movie tried to be at its best and it's better to watch a Bleach movie than a Naruto movie.
