The only good Metallica song was Turn the Page, which isn't even really a Metallica song. And nah, Disturbed is way closer to Rock than Metal. I don't even count them as Metal.
Sir, your opinion on everything has just become worth less than dirt.
Metallica is one of the "Big Four" bands who created and popularized Thrash Metal.

"isn't even really"? Now that's just weird phrasing ๐
Metallica has made some great stuff, but "Turn the page" is not one of them.
I don't know who made the original version, but I know who made the best version:

One of the few Metallica songs I actually like:

Metallica sucks, their music is just terrible. The only contribution they have to music is to inspire other bands to not suck as much as them and make much better music.
You having shitty taste in music does not make a band suck, contrary to what you may believe.

Not that i don't love Metallica, but you shouldn't have to love someone because they caused this or influenced that.
If they were great a person who likes something they influenced will probably like them anyway. If they don't then that's why they only influenced an idea in the music.

He mentioned they have not contributed anything but inspiring others to not suck like them.
So I brought up how they are factually one of the four early, most influential bands that created Thrash Metal.
I am not saying it absolutely has to be innovative or influential for it to be good, I listen to artists who are not particularly influenial, but he directly stated that they contributed nothing to music, which is simply not true, so I corrected him.
I don't listen to Metallica because they influenced anyone, I listen to them because they are a great band.
