I know, but it's hard to pass off the game play as bad when it is, in fact, selling a LOT more then certain other systems, and living proof is on this board. Everyone who is on this board is over the age of 13 (Well, unless they're breaking the rules) and the general consensus is that the Wii is the best system. It's games are fun and creative. You don't need blood, sex, and graphic violence to make a game good. Now obviously that doesn't mean that one can't like that in games, but to state almost as if it were fact that the only thing the Wii has going for it is a gimmik is foolish. If your only stating your personal opinion then excuse me.

It's because of Nintendo's marketing skills, and the fact that gaming is really not the same as it was back in the day. The industry has been invaded by tech jocks and multi-media personalities. Gaming now a days is about as game oriented as Cell phones are about making actual phone calls.

It has nothing to do with blood or sex. I've owned alomost every nintendo system ever, and I have no real problem with their family fun orientated view. But, there gaming ideas limit games. They have good idea's of how games should be played, but no real games to play.
