I'm out for the day. Later peoplez!

I'm blind...That's the best you can come up with? Since you're leaving the argument, I win.

I like how you totally overlooked my last post.

Anyhow, have a good one Xan.

You realize Astley probably doesn't look the same now as he did in that "Never gonna give you up" song from 1987, right?

If they had had a more fitting actress for the character, I admit she would've been.

But why is this even being argued? Those RE movies ought to be a taboo subject here, especially on a day like this.

He doesn't look the same? Honestly, I never saw him in his current state so I wouldn't know.

It still doesn't change the fact that the current actress for Jill is still hotter than Alice.

It should've been taboo for Capcom to have the idea of wanting to let Hollywood adapt RE into a crappy live action movie series but hey, it happened.

Things like this are almost never "facts."

The fun thing about forums, is that you can come back whenever and just start up the argument again. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Which is why anyone in their right mind should prefer it over debating IRL, myself included. ๐Ÿ˜›

When I debate IRL people get mad. ๐Ÿ™

So whats up with not debating games of the month until the end of the year? Doesn't that beat the purpose of the threads?

I got talked into playing Mass Effect 2, despite the fact that I absolutely could not stand the first one.

The point is that we don't need "game of the month" threads at all. Game of the year is enough.

And what do you think?

Whatever the boss says.

I think that if you didn't like the first one, the second won't really change your mind. Though the first mission on Eden Prime made me doubt the game at first, as well.

I can't help but lol at Peach's reaction towards game of the month threads and I don't know what her issue is towards them. I'll admit I screwed up with the last two game of the year threads I made which is why I made game of the month threads. The game with the highest votes in those threads, get moved into the game of the year list. Now that won't happen and I'm sure we'll be seeing me screw up again near the end of the year so thank Peach for that folks.

But the 2nd game is much more polished. If her issues with the game came from the messy shooter mechanics and similar problems I think this game could change her stance on the franchise.

However if she doesn't like the setting/story well...little can be made about that.

Peach just went on a modding triple kill. The joy!

I didn't think that there was anything wrong with the shooter mechanics in the first one.

Not liking Mass Effect or its sequel makes me wonder why people even want an Xbox 360 in the first place IMO.

Flawed logic. Just because something wins 'game of the month' doesn't necessarily make it a contender for 'game of the year'. Not in any way at all.

They're simply unnecessary threads that clog up the forums, especially since half the year nothing even comes out.

Anyway, I'm liking ME2 much better than I did the first one. I hated how clunky the controls were, as well as the clumsy and contrived character interaction. Things are much smoother in the second, and feel more realistic (though ending conversations is still a lot clumsier than it should be). The story and setting are pretty damn generic, though.

Gee, maybe because there are other, better games on the console.

Because it has more playable games than the Ps3?

PC ftw, though.

The focus on character development is top notch though. I don't find it too generic. Although I am no uber scifi gamer/reader/moviegoer etc.

what? The PS3 has quite an impressive library. Its every bit as good as the xbox 360s if you ask me.

Edit Ack double post

Preference I suppose. The only game I'd buy a Ps3 for that isn't also on xbox or PC is GoW3. But I won't buy it for a single game.

Wish Space Marine was coming out on PC, though. :c That's one game the Xbox has now that PC doesn't that I'd play. Not buying that for one game, though either.
