i bet my star wars knowledge outstrips everyone here! =Pi read every piece of eu shite that comes out though... so thats not a positive thing. ๐
I used to do that. No matter how bad the books were, I'd still read every single one, in hopes that it was better than the last.
The NJO series finally killed off that hope in my mind, though.

they were interesting to get through, but the legacy series and fate series are actually rather good. i would recommend reading the clone commando series books by karen traviss.
karen traviss is a 50/50 for me because on the one hand i really appreciate what she did to flesh out the clones, and to explain their lifestyles. i think that the force and jedi and sith are the least interesting aspect of star wars so any story that isnt focused on them is good to me.
but on the other hand she fellates clones to ridiculous levels, stating things like only 2 million clones were needed to fight the CIS who had quintillions of droids... for example.

lol, i guess us die-hards and fanatics don't look at the personality of the writer as much as we do the actual content
From TVtropes:
"In response to the clone numbers controversy Traviss has repeatedly insulted Star Wars fans as sexist losers without a life, refusing to retcon her ridiculous numbers (3 million clones making up the army of the 1.3 million planet spaning Republic) and even making those numbers an even bigger part of her stories (when they were originally mere trivia).
