Nah.

well you'll be alright, as long as youre not trying to quantify the seismic toss.

I am! 74777652 joules of energy are required to throw 98.1 lbs (Magmar) at an innitial speed of 1833.3 meters per second. This is only his average speed, innitial speed would be higher due to air resistance. >_> So, I sorta down rounded.

The toss is OSSIM droolio

I KNEW YOU WAS.

where are you getting the speed and distance from?

Zard flew into the outer atmosphere, the outer atmosphere starts at that distance. Magmar travelled back down in six seconds. Devide distance by time, get speed. 😎

when did charizard fly into the outer atmosphere?

for the record this is the video that i watched and you should use this one cause theres no music >\

in any case, i dont think anything there points to him flying into the outter atmosphere.

that wouldnt work anyway because charizard is a flying lizard... he uses wings for flight not thrusters. there isnt enough air in the atmosphere for him to even reach that height.

You didn't see him fly high about the clouds?

Disagrees. flight is still possible at that altitude.

Charizard was by far Ash's strongest.

He may have had the strongest bond with Pikachu, but he held Charizard in higher regard than all his other pokemon.

Indeed, that was one of my favourite episodes as a kid 😎 I found it funny when it turned out that Ash's Charizard was both small and weak by typical Charizard standards, and yet it's such a bamf. 😐

i used to live in a city where clouds were only 80 feet above our heads. "clouds" by themselves dont mean anything.

no animal has ever flown that high, and the only aircraft that have ever reached that altitude are jets, and that is because they possess...

thrusters.

the reason why jet thrusters allow jets to fly that high up is because that way they dont depend on the air actually providing lift. objects with wings (including helicopters) do. thats why helicopters cant fly above 40,000 feet. past that point there is simply not enough air to keep it afloat. and that specific helicopter is the #1 most powerful helicopter humans have, and its a one of a kind. all the rest can barely go past 8,000 feet before there's not enough air.

edit- theres also the matter of lack of breathing for charizard, and redding out and blacking out. all of these factors would prevent a biological creature from flying that high without the use of magic or mechanics.

small AND weak? Was that from the charizard valley episode where Ash frees Charizard? his strongest slave?

Seismic Toss is battle animation. 😠

IDK how high is 5,600 feet though.

Far lower than 11 kilometers, which equals 36,089.24 feet. 😐

Roughly 1.8 km. Imagine standing at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and trying to see the top of the Canyon.

awwww man I forgot that dragonite beat charizard in that one episode. lame.

That reminds me how the anime treats Flygon like a uber Pseudo Legendary. 😐

To be fair, Dragonite's a pseudo-legendary, even though Charizard looks more bad-ass.

Was Charizard beating Articuno before or after he lost to Dragonite? Because that would more than avenge that loss to Dragonite if it was after.
