Just thought I had best catch this one as everyone else gave vague links (pun!).It has some of the same locations, centuries on.
It's a pretty direct link. I don't just mean two thematically similar concepts with similar names. Literally the same places as in OoT.
It's a sequel.
I think in the near future I will play oot so I'll let you know if my opinion changes once I play through this.
Originally posted by LLLLLinkIf they are alternate realities I'd like them to expand upon one series more than just two or so games and to give this Link experience and different trials. We don't have to do the Ganon thing every time and have him face off against someone else towards the end.
If they decide to make a timeline official, some of the games will have to be discarded in terms of canon.
I also think a game starring Ganondorf would be epic if you have to fight through the evil side to get him to prevail to become the big baddy.
I do think that the Zeldaverse is comprised of alternate realities. The only possible link between them could be the goddesses, but that's a looooong stretch that I'm not going to think about.
I would wet myself if a game starring Ganondorf came out. His (assumed) innocent childhood, his rise to power, and his corruption to evil.
Originally posted by LLLLLinkI have a friend who beat I think them all and that's what he thinks as well. I don't see my opinion changing I just see it more likely as similarities borrowed from previous games. I think until they actually make it official it's whatever you want to believe. I think each game has it's own ganondorf and it's own Link.

Now don't ruin anything but you think oot is more powerful than twilight, right? how big of a power difference without giving any details away.
"More powerful" isn't the right term for what I feel.
I feel that HoT Link is... the true Link. The original. The Chosen One. The Prophecy Fulfiller. The cheapest, lol.
Also, Ganondorf is a multi-dimensional being; his influence can be in two places at once. So, it is possible for the same Ganondorf to be in different dimensions/universes.
Originally posted by LLLLLinkAh, ok. I heard they might actually be delaying the next Zelda due to the fact they were unhappy with it's graphics because of Monster Hunter's impressive looks on the wii.

I think it's just that OoT Link is much more powerful than TP Link. Link in TP lacks magic, so he's considered one of the weakest incarnations.
Originally posted by LLLLLinkYeah, I don't know why anyone would be put off by putting in a second disk anyways.
I hope they do their best on it. I will play multiple discs if I have to.
Originally posted by The ScenarioMaybe because Midna was there to aid you in battle from time to time. She became pretty powerful at the end and it still wasn't enough to do a thing to Ganondorf. I think they really went for the animal thing in the end anyways and have magic here and there not as much as they did in the past.

Originally posted by LLLLLinkWho calls it the best game of all time? Either way your opinion seems close to his as you just have them reversed but still like these both as your favorite games of the series.
OoT is the best to me, but it really is a toss up between LttP and OoT. However, OoT isn't called "the best game of all time" for nothing.
