I'd rather have Ice on my sweeper, and kill them all.

The best things to use Ice Beam tend to be Ice type Pokemon, which are one of the many types that got a huge middle finger this generation with the addition of Stealth Rock, Stone Edge, and Close Combat.

Anything that would use Ice Beam usually has a lot more than just Dragons to worry about.

Yeah, but it's just more intelligent to give a powerful sweeper the move. Garchomp is dead for sure (without Focus Sash or Yache berry), and depending on the pokemon, it could probably take out most Dragons in 2 hits before they Dragon Dance up or anything.

Yeah, Garchomp WOULD be dead, unless, you know, it kills you first, which a lot of Garchomp tend to do.

And it's generally a lot more efficient to just put other Dragons on your team to deal with Dragons if they're that much of a problem for you.

Who wants a slow sweeper? An idiot? If it's slow, it better be able to take a shot from Garchomp.

Naw, Dragons aren't a problem for mah new team. When I'm ready, I'm going to challenge Shin and see if I can't beat him. It's mixed tiers; nothing serious. One of my guys is in NU. O_O

GK, your Mom's a talentless hack.

Yup, like twelve hours late, but I went there. ooh

Garchomp is Uber, m00t pokemon is m00t. Also, yache chomp is probably one of the most broken things ever.

Anyway, I've always been partial to sticking a surprise ice move on something sturdy, just incase. Seems to serve me well. that or I just use my weavile. <3

So, when they bring in Garchomp, you're going to have an Ice move ready every time? What do they get to do when you have to switch out to bring it in? A free Dragon Dance. Then Garchomp uses outrage, and unless you resist it, you're probably dead.

The only way this would work for you is in midsweep, in which case the only way you'll be seeing Garchomp at that point anyway is if you've managed to drop their walls or anything else they can use to stop you.

Even then, it's fairly difficult to outrun a Garchomp. Most run Jolly nature which is basically 110 base speed plus full EVs.

3 of my 6 can own a Jolly Garchomp w/ max Speed EV's 31 IV's, either in 1 shot or they will take minimal damage. They were raised with that intention, because I got tired of getting plastered with one right after another. Dragons aren't a problem anymore.

Your team sounds poorly made.

I wonder how you can deduce that from such miniscule info...

3 things raised with the intention of facing a Garchomp. Nearly impossible for that to work well as a team.

Oversight. They merely possess that capability. They are equipped for much more, I assure you.

Anyone else excited about the new castlevania slated out at the end of the year?

I'm gonna get dragged into seeing Sex & the City...I just know it...
