What vacation? I wish I was going on one, I'm working today ermm Unless you mean a vacation from you, Scream, but I don't know if that counts unless you take everyone else with you.

This is a comparison that should not ever be made. GoW3 is a 13 year old on xbox live while OoT is Shakespeare.
Welcome to my quote list <3
And as always, the point whooshes over a certain head.
Re: Football vs. Hockey. There was far more interest in hockey during the recent Stanley Cup than I've ever seen football have here - the last time I saw any sport have that sort of insane interest was back in the 90s when the Bulls were winning every single championship. And as was pointed out already, most pro hockey players in the US are actually from Canada. Just because someone plays for a certain city, doesn't mean they are from there.
Chicago is way better than those cities than quan listed (though I may be biased). I would personally much rather visit Toronto than NYC or Vegas, though (especially the latter - gambling and drinking, SOUNDS SO MUCH FUN ermm).
Education. I have already pointed out that the US is pretty low down in the pile when it comes to education. Private schools are not necessarily better than public school; they just have different funding. And Ivy Leagues are actually showing to no longer be the academic powerhouses they used to be. Expensive does not need better, and they are largely riding on their reputations at this point.
Being a military superpower is not something to be proud of. It just means we spend a disproportionate amount of money on the military, and in the case of the US, do so at the cost of other programs which are far more important to the general populace - such as education, healthcare, and social services.
(and since it's a pretty easy link to make - if anyone brings up welfare, they will be smacked by me and educated so fast that their head will spin. Touchy subject, but made even worse by idiots blathering on about it ignorantly)

Point is we have a mixture over here in terms of public schooling but the best colleges and places of higher learning in this country blow canada's best out of the water.
In the Programme for International Student Assessment, students in over two dozen developed countries are given the same standardized test. In reading literacy, the US scored 15, 21st in science, and ****ing 24th in mathematics.
In comparison? Finland scored 1st in all, and Canada was 2nd, 2nd, and 5th respectively.
44% of college professors think that incoming college students cannot write on a college level. Somewhere around 70% of all college-attending students in America cannot afford tuition, and depend on loans with ridiculously high interest. And the federal government has cut back on education funding since that number, as tuition costs have only risen higher.
America's public education model is used by other countries as an example of how not to do it.
Whole tons of Irony here.

ok man np.... I'll just play DQ8 for now. We'll either have to play 1 or 2 together for now. Still don't have a working copy for the campaign, but I'm trying to get a friend to loan me one of his copies, so I should have it pretty soon. oh yeah, I finally got "A RIDE DENIED" and "GAS SHORTAGE". Just 4 more achievements and I'll have them all, but the DLC ๐Also, I should have some points to get them pretty soon, a friend is buying me a 1800 point card so he can play the map packs on CoD4, and he's gonna let me use the rest for what I want. ๐
edit: should I get the DLC for 1 or 2?๐
