Damn. That's ****ed up.

Also, for the lulz, go read Dr. Light's wiki article. The lulz is tangible.

Just did. Is very lulzy indeed.

"During his time with the Squad, Light demonstrates a simple desire to be liked by the other members. He sees his chance when a mysterious pie-armed attacker is on the loose but nobody actually believes Light has been pied."

Lol wut.

So, am I the only one here who has thought about what they want their gravestone to be/say?

I have, but everything I come up with sucks.

Is it against the rules to call someone who has proven themselves to be a stupid moron a stupid moron?

Yeah, I can't seem to shorten anything I'd like to gravestone length. But I settled on a few things earlier.

It shouldn't be Neme, but it's probably considered flaming.

Edit: "Stupid moron" seems a little superfluous, too.

1. Violence does not equal maturity.

2. How do you know this out of curiosity? ๐Ÿ˜

Can you actually name any Canadian schools?

Or any schools outside of America for that matter?

The fact that the Ivy-League is so abhorrently expensive that for the most part only the obscenely rich can attend them should tell you there is a problem.

Also, there is no real mixture, most public American schools are absolute garbage. I have been fortunate enough to for the most part go to pretty good public schools, but most really suck total ass, and pretty much all are below many other "big" countries.

So for your point to be true then you'd let kids at any age play these games and watch r rated films with violence in them. I guess so since everyone can handle it and maturity has nothing to do with watching someone get dismembered.

2.Common sense.

I want to hear from the canadian or another one which schools rival these schools from the united states. Do you honestly think I wanted to go to canada when I went to college? hahahahahaha.

lol I wasn't calling u ignorant for the ESRB thing, even though u still miss the point. It was your views on America when compared to the rest of the world.

blood and gore DOESN'T make a game mature, it makes it get a mature ESRB rating, which doesn't means shit. The LoZ series has avoided this, getting an E rating, which also doesn't mean shit, and targeted a bigger audience, made of kids and adults. It's a kid friendly game, but it has very dark and mature elements in it, that kids aren't really able to comprehend until they start to mature.

and as for the depth of Kratos as a character, yes it does have bigger impact on how mature the game actually is, but claiming that it's for mature audiences just because of blood and gore doesn't make it a mature game. I never tried downplaying the GoW games as far as the story goes... just the statement that GoW was mature because of all the blood and gore shown in it, and that Zelda isn't from the lack of blood and gore in the series.

Don't forget that all this started by u saying that LoZ was a kiddie game, and was nothing today compared to games like GoW, which "keeps raising the bar". The only thing GoW raised was the amount of blood and gore u can pack into a game at once. You was trying to compare a newer series, which is good... I do like all 4 GoW games, to one that has survived since the dawn of Nintendo. If LoZ games are starting to suck and aren't getting any better, then why do they still have a huge fanbase today? If it's so childish then why weren't u able to beat one of these kiddie games that came out 12 years ago, w/o getting stuck in the same spot for 12 hrs?

Iyo.

I never said it's make it a mature game based on this just that with these things in this game it makes it for more mature minds than loz games. The ratings board agrees younger audiences can play zelda and be fine unlike gow. I mean you can make a woman climax so don't you dare compare things such as this to a dragon raining fire on the unsuspecting morons of hyrule.

Gow has set the bar higher and have outdone themselves from game to game basically. Zelda has continually disappointed fans from game to game recently. I think it's been massively downhill just from the zelda fans since oot. Tp was terrible and wasn't really fun at all and now that I played oot it was such a direct copy of the game with some changes it's laughable they released it.

I said it's targeted at a younger audience which has nothing to do with it's difficulty at all. If you keep not comprehending what it is I am saying you're the ignorant one. it's an open ended game where you can miss all sorts of things but isn't graphic at all.

@NemeBro, Cyner hit the nail on the head in terms of what Quan doesn't understand about maturity. ๐Ÿ˜ Was not applying it specificly to GoW3. Though the comparisons could indeed be made. 131

Oh, and @LLLC, treat 'em good, ๐Ÿ˜Ž

@Mods, enjoy your vacation.

I do understand that violence on this level does have to do with matuiry if it doesn't let your 3 year old play the gow games then. Most of tis stuff is common sense.

Welcome to my quote list <3

And as always, the point whooshes over a certain head.

Re: Football vs. Hockey. There was far more interest in hockey during the recent Stanley Cup than I've ever seen football have here - the last time I saw any sport have that sort of insane interest was back in the 90s when the Bulls were winning every single championship. And as was pointed out already, most pro hockey players in the US are actually from Canada. Just because someone plays for a certain city, doesn't mean they are from there.

Chicago is way better than those cities than quan listed (though I may be biased). I would personally much rather visit Toronto than NYC or Vegas, though (especially the latter - gambling and drinking, SOUNDS SO MUCH FUN ermm).

Education. I have already pointed out that the US is pretty low down in the pile when it comes to education. Private schools are not necessarily better than public school; they just have different funding. And Ivy Leagues are actually showing to no longer be the academic powerhouses they used to be. Expensive does not need better, and they are largely riding on their reputations at this point.

Being a military superpower is not something to be proud of. It just means we spend a disproportionate amount of money on the military, and in the case of the US, do so at the cost of other programs which are far more important to the general populace - such as education, healthcare, and social services.

(and since it's a pretty easy link to make - if anyone brings up welfare, they will be smacked by me and educated so fast that their head will spin. Touchy subject, but made even worse by idiots blathering on about it ignorantly)

You're basing it off the reactions of one city. The bears back in the 80's and I bet their recent sbowl appearance had a lot more buzz than the stanely cup. NFL dominated all other sports and makes hockey look pathetic in comparison. The sbowl in this country absolutely crushes the ratings of the stanley cup.

Ahaha no.

In the Programme for International Student Assessment, students in over two dozen developed countries are given the same standardized test. In reading literacy, the US scored 15, 21st in science, and ****ing 24th in mathematics.

In comparison? Finland scored 1st in all, and Canada was 2nd, 2nd, and 5th respectively.

44% of college professors think that incoming college students cannot write on a college level. Somewhere around 70% of all college-attending students in America cannot afford tuition, and depend on loans with ridiculously high interest. And the federal government has cut back on education funding since that number, as tuition costs have only risen higher.

America's public education model is used by other countries as an example of how not to do it.

Where are these random statistics being taken from?

That proves it. Quan needs to be deported by to comic section.

US education is extremely poor in communitees with bible wrapped in around them. In Ohio, there was a teacher teaching creationism to kids.

LOL good luck in college.

So what? There are fanatics everywhere in the world and some random example of some ohio teacher doing so doesn't mean all teachers are doing this it's just an example.

Nah, the Super Bowl has never generated as much buzz here as the Stanley Cup did. Nor did the White Sox winning the World Series a few years back.

And if you bothered to read GK's post, he said where those statistics came from.

1. No, the same way I would not want my kids to see their mother be raped and decapitated by a shovel and left dead in a ditch. Is that mature behavior? No, it is not, but it is certainly not child friendly.

2. ๐Ÿ˜

So you don't actually have any proof, you only ASSUME that US schools are by superior?

All I needed to hear, you sir, are an ignorant blight upon this country and it is people like you who give it a bad name.

Quan, I would be shocked to discover you finished high school, let alone college.

Oh, and yes, I did consider quite seriously going to college in Canada. I would have been able to get an education at least as good as what I was getting here, if not better, and for far cheaper.

Oh God the amount of wrong with this. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Quan's opinion is roughly equivalent to a pile of bear shit, do not worry about it.

Are mods allow to section ban?

It took 5+ games for Kratos( a 30 year old) to learn there is a moral point to his adventure. Link on the other hand shown more maturity because doesn't blame others for his misfortune and he is about in his late teen years. Its really sad it took Kratos that long to realize and accept his mistakes. In fact Hermes berated him for it.

Edit: Quan, you just played Zelda and yet you are acting as if you know the entire series by book. Screw your opinions, you have no standing on the series.

I see you've discovered the joy of 'debating' with quanchi112. Best thing to do is to just draw lulz from it.
I brought up his intelligence to light in this thread, but GK told me to stop flaming, so probably yes.

I think he's talking about the maturity of the games, not the characters. Either way, his definition of 'mature' was rather skewed.

That goes with the games. If the main character doesn't even show growth, then what does that say about his game?

Hell, In Dante Inferno(GoW son game), Dante shown more levels of maturity.

He's better than Bayonetta( or Shitonetta) Flat character with now development at all. To where Kratos at least show some growth.
