Me? I've been on the site on and off for years. Mostly off, once I got tired of the RP section of the site and Kaliero and Peach here couldn't really get me interested in Ush's games (not their fault, or his, just...totally different mechanic than I'm used to).
I just show up every so often and browse around for anything that catches my interest. The scent of hack and slash fanboy drew me in.

Yeah? And exploding after being rear-ended was unique to the Pinto, but you don't see anyone putting THAT on a pedestal. But in all seriousness, and going back to Shadow of Colossus again: EVERYTHING was a boss battle. That seems way more unique, because nobody had done that before. And having played both games, I'm going to keep SoT on my shelf, and GoW with the drink coasters. God of War relied way too much on quicktime events, which they sure as hell didn't start themselves. Hell, one of (or the, I haven't researched it THAT far) launch titles for PS2, The Bouncer, had combos in the form of quicktime events. Combos that usually killed anything you put into them. Sound familiar?
...I tried to figure out what you were saying. I really did. I tried. But all I could do is tilt my head to the side, stare blankly at the screen, and have an aneurysm.
Getting bored with something doesn't mean it wasn't original. You thinking it was lame does not make it unoriginal. It just means you think it was lame.
Man, visit fanfiction.net sometime, people have been utterly screwing source material / canon for their own interests for YEARS. God of War wasn't the first.
By this logic, crack cocaine is WAY better than God of War ever was.
Actually, I've gotta agree with you there. The GoW movie was WAY be-WAITAMINUTE.
Talk to the owners of the first batch of 360s. Boy have they got stories.
Neither do I. I do, however, think they have terrible taste.

You're wrong, at least on this.GoW is certainly not on the same maturity level as Spongebob.
It was more of a comparison. I didn't actually mean that it was on the same lvl as Spongebob, but Happy Tree Friends is. I related to GoW because HTF has ridiculous amounts of blood and violence too. It's great, and I like it, but it's still immature. I chose the two because they was both cartoons, Spongebob was just the first one that came to mind.
I would respond to Quan, but after reading to catch up with the thread, i really don't see the need after all he's said. It's just pointless. ๐ฌ

*sigh* i mess the old days, when every other poster was a nebaris wannabe, and all of the one sided debates lasted a whole year because they wouldn't give up ๐

Considering how many times I've banned him...yeah, I do. Because I'm the one in the best position to know.
Only a handful of times did he manage to slip through for more than a day or two, and that was simply because he was using a proxy; and each time we knew it was him and were checking the sock checker daily waiting for a match to pop up.
Seth, don't make me close any threads you make, go read the rules before starting any if you're suggesting stuff like that ๐
