it's just really hard around here to find opportunity in what I'm doing. So right now I'm branching out into other territory a bit while doing some studying to advance my IT career. Still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up 😛
Yeah, I know how that is. The town closest to me is extremely small, so they'll snatch up anyone that knows how to connect a business and keep it flowing. I lucked out and every once in awhile work with my friend who works for Verizon. Only part-time there, as I usually just do portaits and such.
Speaking of which, my friend finished her Silent Hill Nurse outfit, and I did her photos as well as made her mask. Here's one I like:
Thinkin' about dressin' up as Pyramid Head along with her. Only if three other gals she knows decide to dress up as nurses. If that doesn't happen, then I'm dressin' up as a Red Lantern.
I'm working for a temp agency right now, I have work sometimes but it's barely enough... I have bills to pay and IT work around here has become non existent.
I either need to start freelancing, or get on that corner and pull up my skirt.
Also, for Halloween i'm gonna be bland and do... nothing. Maybe if I get enough cash I'll purchase a blue jumpsuit and yellow electrical tape to make a Vault Dweller costume with that 13 on the back.
Edit: Bored, I decided to check profiles for aim SN's and apparently Peach has me quoted on her profile. I feel special now... no not that kind of special I've always been like that 😛
Trust me, ya got those stinky things called bills and I know what it's like when IT work just stops existing. First year of college, wanted to get an AA in humanities, then I realized in this town they'de see that and laugh. possibly while pointing at the door, haha.
Thank ya! Twas a simple photo on my new DSLR, slight tooling with photoshop, she loved it. The hardest part was making the costume. Had to soak that dress in tea and do a bunch of other steps. Still couldn't find an old antique razor like they had in the movie, or a gun which could've deressed lots of people. We did find an old glass syringe though.
