Roxas is actually a better character than Sora. Axel isn't that great but fans love him so screw your opinion.

Not to mention, any of them is a better character than Link. And Red. awesome

I agree with the link part but them being great characters is wrong. KH characters are all saturday morning anime cliches.

Also I made a sim called Fritztiem Gerald

Bonus points to anyone that guessed where I got the name from.

Good thing I never actually said they were great characters. ๐Ÿ˜‰

But yeah, they're all cliche. Sora more than Roxas though. Still, who doesn't like cliches?

Your Mom?

Wait wut, a saturday morning anime cliche > Link? I legitimately had an argument with someone about something similar yesterday. ๐Ÿ˜ Wil destroy you and all you hold dear.

I don't see how any KH character can be > Link.

Considering Link isn't a characrter so much as you put into a video game and given garish clothing. ๐Ÿ˜

I was actually trying for immature. But cute works I guess. And I don't know, tell us.

You kinda proved why every KH character>Link with that second statement.

Except Kairi. She can **** off.

Link has all the character of an outhouse.

Both false. ๐Ÿ˜ Very, very false. Link has no dialogue, that is very different from having no character.

He has character. He just isn't a character. 313

He has my character when I play him. ๐Ÿ˜–hifty:

Quite. But it doesn't make his character any less 1 dimensional than he is.

Considering Link is always running into houses, stealing stuff, and ignoring womenz, he likely always has your character. awesome

Bring it on. Oh wait I already won.

I can't see how he's one dimensional? ๐Ÿ˜ It amazes me how his depth of character gets so easily overlooked just because he doesn't spend half the game moping about his misfortune. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Not really, since I highly doubt you'd bother to save the world after you were blamed for the murder of your father and cast out of your home at ten years old. 131

That isn't exactly what makes a character a character. Explain to me the examples of link being a character. Because the only Link that got characterization was WW.

You ignore that OoT Link and TP Link also got characterisation. You mean to tell me meeting Saria on the bridge wasn't an emotional moment? ๐Ÿ˜ Or Link's choice not to reveal who he really was to Mido in the Lost Woods? Or When you find Saria's glade empty, or she tells you that you can't exist in the same world (And subsequently realise she died) ? These are only interactions with the Kokiri off the top of my head. His choices speak a lot of his courage and strength of character. He chooses to carry out the Deku Tree's last wish, leave the forest (Despite previously being told doing so would kill him) ect. Link does have character, these are not choices most people would be able to make.

Thanks for proving the point. Of course he has courage. But that's really it as far as I know. I've seen the bridge scene. Wasn't emotional...at all. Or at least, Link didn't look affected by it. And I'm guessing he didn't reveal who he was because....what would he gain from it?

Heroes do brave things. Link does brave things. Does not make a good character. If Link actually did these things for selfish reasons, then you'd have room to argue. He doesn't. He goes on these adventures because doing the right thing is just hotwired into his mind.

How can Roxas possibly be a great character? He's annoying, almost as much as Axel is.

Annoying characters can still be in a sense, "great" characters.

Roxas is okay as a character because he displays emotions like anger and sadness and guilt. Which serves a purpose because since he is a nobody, he shouldn't be able to show any emotion. At all. Near as I can tell, Roxas being able to display emotions is supposed to hint at a more special power Sora has. It's also meant to show that Roxas is quite different from the other nobodies.

So as a character, Roxas works very well. And again, fans love him.

Disagreed, doing things for selfish reasons doesn't make you in any way a better or more interesting character, just a different kind, and being a hero and being courageous are very different. Ever read any of Ciaphas Cain's novels? Link is very brave, and his ability to NOT emo it up should be legendary considering he's one of the characters who gets the most thoroughly shit on through out his career.

Link's choices to not reflect somethign so simple and one dimensional as "brave gai with no emotions". Otherwise, he would have just told Mido who he was, or probably even said **** it to saving the world. Link is an insane stoic, and a lot deeper of a character than peopel credit him for due to his lack of dialogue.
