Yes, because it's about Facebook I would not watch it. Because I wouldn't care about anything in it, at all. Ever. Again, I'd probably play a Call of Duty game first.
I wonder how many people said something similar when it was revealed that they were gonna make a Mario movie?

Gran Torino was a fantastic ****ing movie. I've been yelling at my little brother for not liking it since it was in theaters.Yes, because it's about Facebook I would not watch it. Because I wouldn't care about anything in it, at all. Ever. Again, I'd probably play a Call of Duty game first.
The fact that there's a movie about Facebook is not surprising nor is the movie necessarily bad. In terms of plot, a lot of movies appear bad. There's this one about a boat that sinks, like we haven't heard that before.
Facebook, like it or not, has changed the world. I haven't seen it, but I intend to do so, if nothing else to know the story behind it.
I'm different like that, thinking "why not" rather than "why". I'll let you guys know what it's like after I've seen it.

wondering "why am I even watching this?"
Well there's two main reasons specific to this movie why people would watch it:
a) it's about facebook and they have a facebook account or heard of facebook before
b) David Fincher directed it.
Hadst I watched it I'd fall equally in both categories I'd say, I do find the Facebook story interesting and I appreciate David Fincher's work.
Anyways, it got nominated for a the Best Picture Award (though to be fair, that's less of an achievement since last year) and 7 further Oscars

I wish that looked better.
Though I find Marvel trailers to all have an oddly similar look and feel.
I didn't like Titanic either. It's the reason I never saw Avatar. Well, that, and I've seen Disney's Pocahontas. So it just seemed like a waste of money.
I have heard of Facebook, have one. Both are bad reasons to see this movie. If they give a damn about Facebook, then sure, see it. I do not, so I will not.
I do not know David Fincher. What else did he direct?

Seven, Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
And why would you watch Pocahontas? That shows a serious lack of taste...
