Okay people, what the **** is a Twelve?

After some looking around, I found the picture he used, and it appears to be a Street Fighter character.

But they aren't supposed to just look like animals. That'd be incredibly lame.

I'd say it's a far sight better than most of the Generation III/IV Pokemon.

XD but most of those are animals.

Few of the Pokemon since Generation I really resemble any animal.

And most of the ones that don't are just utterly ridiculous.

I don't think you've been looking at the same series of games I have.

IMO, generation II > I > III > IV/V (haven't yet decided on whether I like gen IV or V better ๐Ÿ˜›).

I'm sorry you feel that way.

Moo Pokemon is lame, and has been since generation III.

The sooner you accept that your tastes are abhorrent, the sooner you can move on with your life.

Your opinion is invalid. It thinks Demon's Souls was a great game.

Will not argue that Pokemon should mostly resemble animals/plants/insects due to that being the kind of world they're trying to create. But I will give them some leniency because there are only so many animals and a few Pokemon from Gen 1 don't really look like animals either. Was mostly talking about the insane legendary Pokemon in the later games. ๐Ÿ˜›

Perhaps a lot of us just have nostalgic blurred vision whom fail to see that all the generations are of equal quality. mmm Eh, who am I kidding? Pokemon has gone downhill since at least after gen III, as NemeBro pointed out, becoming less and less original with each passing generation. The double battles was one thing, but I still don't see triple battling as something that was really necessary. etc., etc. The most hardcore competitive battlers out there will probably still stick to singles anyway.

Okay, it's one thing to just have nostalgia vision and always hype Gen I when comparing it to a new generation. But don't lie. Less and less original is a blatant fabrication.

Only, it is a great game. O:

Just because your own crappy taste cannot appreciate its depth does not make the game bad. The view of an insect holds no relevance.

Then why do you keep assuming your opinion holds any water?

After generation III, not so much. I guess I should rephrase the "less and less original" part to, "less and less unique changes within the battle system/overall gameplay". Gen II at least introduced held items, a couple new types, breeding, and shinies. Gen III introduced natures, traits/abilities, IVs, EVs, pokeblocks, Pokemon contests, double battling, and what not. Only major thing gen IV did from what I recall was make certain moves that once were special as physical and vice-versa, and gave us the lame god pony if you count that, along with the disappointing online service. So what's the totally new thing about gen V, and does it at least make it more unique than generation IV?

I think EVs have been around since the very first games. Gen III only introduced a limit on them. IVs were new though.

Gen IV was a complete 180 in gameplay from III. It went from a primarily defensive game back into offense. You should know this since you seem to focus on the gameplay system, which tells me you actually put more effort into the game than the story mode. Anyone casual would and should be focusing more on the Pokemon, the most important part of the game.

Gen IV kept the stuff that's been added while adding in the Battle Frontier, customized Safari Zone, the PokeAthlon, and managed to crush types weak to Rock into a fine powder.

V has so far fine tuned everything some more while putting in Pokemon sports minigames, the Pokemon musical, and some other stuff that I just haven't gotten to yet. So far the game is also more difficult. As well as being pretty fresh. There isn't a sight of an older Gen Pokemon until you unlock the National Dex.

But I only called that a fabrication because of the less and less original claim.

Is moocow still trying to trick people into thinking the new pokemon look cool?

Honestly I'm really happy with what I've seen on the game so far. Not since Gen 2 have I encountered so many pokemon that I actually want to catch/train.
