Cap keeps a side arm on him. Rogers didn't use it most of the time, but may have during his time in WW2, I don't remember.

The lameness that is Bucky Cap used guns all the time, apparently.

To answer the question, it could be awesome, like a lot of games. But it needs work.

Maybe its cos Cap looks unimpressive in the superhero area and uninteresting to play as. Guess its more for the fans than anyone else.

Cap fans are the only people that matter.

...take it you're a Cap fan. >__>

Steve Rogers' powers is that he's simply better than the guy next to him.

Unless that guy has a sniper rifle. awepeach

He was weakened and restrained.

Normally, bullets job to Cap just afterthing else does.

Wasn't whatsherface hypnotized? Thought she shot him close range a few times as well.

Not the biggest Cap fan but iirc he's comic peak human, only weapons a shield and no other abilities.

For a superhero game with no special moves, gear and only martial arts and shield throws in a 3rd person action-adventure, how impressive can it turn out to be?

Comic book peak human is another way of saying "I can bench press 1,100 pounds, dodge bullets, and walk inside a nuclear reactor."

Captain America has done all of these things.

I'm Batman!

Captain America is physically superior to Batman. Just not as intelligent. And somehow even less lame. And when you are lamer than Captain America, there is a problem.

Know what comic peak is... well except the nuclear thing. And isn't peak human (normal, not comic) 1,100 lbs already?

So what makes him such a great hero? Having troubles seeing why he's so popular when 90% of comic guys do what he can and more.

Pretty sure it's along the same lines that Thing gets, a good heart and determination. As well as being better than people who have more power than him.

I can think of no one who can bench press 1,100 pounds at all, let alone rep it like Captain America does.

PIS mostly. Captain America's success among superpowered peers relies on their stupidity. For instance, him being able to block super strength foes with his shield is fine and dandy, Vibranium being a core component in it and all. I never understood why a super strength foe did not just grab the shield, and take it from him.

Even Hulk is not that stupid.

^Ok realised afterwards that it isn't a natural lift, but close.

Meh Cap sounds lame... am glad finding out that the Hulk is somewhat smarter then his ''Hulk smash'' days. o:

Was Charmander really the hardest? Ember always raped Onyx and geodude, from what I remember.

EDIT- Funny thing about Pokemon. I got Yellow version first, and I rememebr my friend traded me his lvl 100 Mew-Two for like a caterpee or something. he gave it to me right at the start of the game, so the son of a ***** wouldn't listen to me until the very end of the game. I went through the ENTIRE game with that Mew-Two though, using like 99% luck. It would only listen to me like 1/10 times, but because it was level 100 nothing could hurt it.

lol Nice. I kinda did the same when I traded my level 100 Ho-oh from Gold to Crystal version, as far as dealing with it disobeying until it finally decided to attack and what not. It would pretty much always attack right away if the opponent sent out a rock type though, funnily enough.

The new versions see fit to baby me with a metal claw, which I do not care for.

But.. it's useful. 😬

Is there a worse case of Captain America's PIS than making Onslaught bleed?

See now, I cannot actually recall Captain America making Onslaught bleed.

And that is why he is lame. When you can make a being composed of pure psychic energy bleed, you are a ****ing *******.

It was in some comic called Onslaught Reborn (after the temporary Cable and Apocalypse alliance thing), where Onslaught returned from the grave in some solid form, or was just nerfed enough for the Cap to hold his own against him, give or take.
