It's nice. If you go to Dublin, avoid Temple Bar.

In all honesty though, most (and i say most) of either gender is kind of, how do i put this... retarded.

Men are pigs, women are b*tches. it's certainly not all (as there are good ones on both sides). it just amazes me how many women can be impressed by something shiny that cost a lot of money.

Dude...facepalm

I'll be sure to do that.

You didn't. I'm just messing around is all.

So... reinforcing how much gay people (oh wait, gay men, double-standard) terrify you is "messing around"?

What? Seriously... What?

you know i'm right. 😛

unless it's somehow magically different in america...

Well...no.

The whole stereotype that women always like and are impressed by expensive shiny things is just irritating. Especially since women are looked down for that sort of thing, but it's perfectly okay for guys to go out and spend ridiculous amounts of money on stuff like cars, TVs, video games, and so on, and it's simply passed off as "Oh, guys and their toys".

Again, another double standard. Perfectly okay for guys to like pricey things, but not if women do.

Also, "retarded" is kind of an offensive thing to say.

When did I bring up the word 'shiny?' I was thinking flowers...

I don't think it's the issue of liking nice things, it's whether or not the person buys it themselves.

When a man has something expensive it's "What did he do to earn that?"

When a woman has something expensive it's "What guy bought all of that for her?"

Comes from traditional roles and expectations and so forth.

I wasn't speaking about the double standard, just the fact that some people are more easily impressed than others. i even stated that you could insert your own similar guy comment at the end of mine to keep it balanced.

my bad on the retarded thing. i wasn't speaking about the medical classification.

This whole thing is like watching two circus trains collide. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Intent doesn't matter.

It does but not as much context, common sense and knowing when to talk. Which is his problem.

That said, two girls making out is acceptable to me because I am attracted to women. Two guys making out is equally acceptable but I am not attracted to males so I'll refrain from observing the action(mostly cause I create mental images rather quickly) with the utmost courtesy.

I think this is the point Nemesis can't seem to make.

This, precisely. I have my own sexual ideals, but I'm not going to force everyone to conform to them. The Nemesis position boils down to "the validity of your sexual orientation is directly related to how much I would personally enjoy watching you."

Which is wrong, stupid, and offensive.

Funny how it's obvious to everyone else, but...

Hey, I'm not a ****in' drunk. >=( St. Patrick's day was that week!

Now to fuel the fire:
-Saw this coming the second people started bragging about having bisexual friends. Tried to offset it with the humour of Shinny-boy here having no straight female friends: IE dating = no :c BUT YOU ALL MISSED IT.

But yeah, you all need to stop being so sensitive about who's touching whose junk when they're not on the forum. As long as they wash their hands, regardless of whose it was, before they touch my posts, I don't care.

That is exactly what I've been trying to say. Thank you.

No it isn't, and if it is, your train of thought is closer to a train wreck.

Wait...what?

Both sides of this look wrong. `-`

O rly?

Are you talking like that 'cause you think I disrespect adventurous women as much as the dudes? For your information, this is not true and I hardly had the thought to dislike your social group.

This statement is smeared in the utmost of double standards. You Really need to pick your words more carefully.

Your stated belief of "it's okay if girls do it, but not guys." The one Aura just posted, in fact.

I think not.

You Really need to pick your words more carefully.

And yet you made that statement of what you thought I was trying to say.

Gee, ya think?
