Also, Xenosaga is absolute shit.

No one post about that game with the notion that you are giving praise.

I've never even heard of 'Monolith Soft' before. Wiki says that all they've done is Xeno-crap stuff. Shin Megami Tensei >>>>

Yup.

The development team that formed Monolith Soft previously worked at Square and developed their very best games, as well as Quest and Nitroplus.

Thought that being said their developments since forming Monolith Soft alone rank them right up there along with the likes of Square and Kojima Productions. You don't really get a linuep much better than Xenosaga, Baten Kaitos, and Soma Bringer.

Sounds like both series suck.

Id is not the villain.

Xenogears plot is deep as tartarus. Still playing through it.

Yeah, but it was easier to type villian than to try to explain wtf up with that clown.

As in he looks really silly.

too much anime can't breath

Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Baldurs Gate, Jade Empire and KOTOR >>>>

I was amused by this:

MvuYicdZr-A&feature=related

Oh, they're anime games?

Explains a lot.

OMG GUYS ITS LIKE SOOOOOOOO SYMBOLIC!

barf

Xenogears never claimed that its symbology as far as how it related to names and such was supposed to be anything approaching subtle. It left that to how the themes are represented within the story, such as the numerous allusions to how the different characters were haunted by and attempted to resolve their Oedypus Complexes (which the setting itself symbolised using humanity as its instrument), or the Nietzschean ideals that were framed by multiple different events and character motivations.

Nephthys we've talked before about this and we agreed that you're not supposed to bring those unspectacular titles into these discussions. Bioware games are fundamentally generic and straightforward and they are not fitting of being spoken in the same sentence thread forum internet as Xenogears.

What up guys. Imma just stand here with my goofy looking chin and ****ing stupid looking haircut and be the Neitzschean superman. Could I BE more super?

Try harder.

Haircut comment makes me lol, Neph. Anime style games are expected to have that kind of nonsense, aren't they?

That's an excellent looking chin, what are you talking about?

Clearly somebody's a little jealous of a man with a sense of style that can only be catagorised as "fabulous".

There's more originality in Xenoblade's basic plot description than there is in Bioware's entire library of videogames.

Now Code Geass was an excellent piece of entitainment. No girly boys in there, no sirry.

Okay, so there's way too much of that Russel Brand guy around right now.

I don't mind him. Seems kinda wimpy though.

Good. He can **** off to America and leave us alone.
