I think I'm going to move on to the Horus Heresy novels. I liked the first Gaunt's Ghosts omnibus, but Dan Abnett's wanking of the IG is beginning to irk me. I was cool with First and Only, but once it got to the point where the Ghosts could stand up to an army of 10,000 chaos cultists with 400 troops and only lose one person in the entire engagement, I started to scratch my head.

If that's how he portrays your average IG grunt, I'm curious to see how he treats Speyce Murheens.
