Assuming the laws of Conservation of Energy true in the world of Portal I suppose a shattered table would be spat out from the wall where you put the portal ๐Ÿ˜› Under the condition that a portal is in fact a portal in all its simplicity and not part of some greater realm through which the object travel. If the latter turns out to be the case then I suppose it might get stuck in that realm and you'd have to make two new holes as they canceled themselves out ๐Ÿ˜›

It would create and infinite loop of the table going through the wall, through itself, the wall in itself etc until it starts to get extremely compact. Eventually the infinite energy collapses into itself and forms a black hole with infinite energy that grows at an alarming rate which precedes to suck in the entire universe. After the hole consumes everything it starts to eat itself. This infinite loop of the hole consuming itself cancels out the infinite loop of the table going through the wall leading to the table being the single thing in existence. When said table is thrown out of the black hole, almost like a portal, all the infinite looped energy of the universe gets attached to the table. So much so that it forms an omniscience conscious through the sheer force of being everything. The table, now omnipotent from all that power, decides that its grown beyond its physical body so erupts its own table-body in a gradually increasing explosion, thus becoming omnipresent by spreading itself out to reform the universe, the second big bang. The new OmniTable takes its place by watching over the universe and everything formed in it until the day when someones decides to throw a portaled item into another portal, to which the OmniTable passes the control of the universe over to whatever was thrown in so that the OmniTable can move on to the next thing that Omni beings go to after their universe-maintenance job is over. Thus is the life cycle of a 'god'.

Noticed that near all of the people, usually underknown, that Darkstorm Zero debates with always ends up raging at him. Wonder if he attracts those kind..

Hopefully you're not getting these feats from their fatalities, as fatalities aren't canon representations of the characters' feats.
Yeah, because fatalities aren't a part of the game, right ? Good call.

I guess this counts then since it's part of the canon story you go through and is in a cinema.

Yeah man, because being as slow as human beings and not much stronger are great feats.

Plus you know, being capable of being killed by shit like falling on spikes, in comparison to Akuma who fights inside volcanos.

Unless MK9 was a serious increase in power, Street Fighter is by far the stronger verse.

For other verses that are more powerful than Mortal Kombat, I direct you to Guilty Gear, Blazblue, and most obviously Darkstalkers.

How about blowing up a military chopper completely by one shang tsung fireball.

Like akuma can't be killed by spikes if he fell on them. Laughs.

You feat arguers always make me chuckle.

Yeah, logic sure is a hoot.

Punch from Gouken > falling on a spike.

Punch from captain marvel or ww I'd imagine is greater than that. Need we continue ?

Hey guys, are you curious as to what's going on in Portal 2 so far?

Spoiler:
Wheatley turns GLaDOS into a POTATO BATTERY after he takes control of the facility and it turns out that he's the main antagonist!
I did not see that coming and who would? It's insane!
Spoiler:
I suspected rather strongly it would happen ๐Ÿ˜„ It was the most probable plot development from where I was sitting.

As for a Portal 2 review. I cleared Co-Op with a friend in a few hours. I cleared Single-Player in about six hours. It was fun but disappointingly easy. I suppose they want to please the younger crowd as well ๐Ÿ™‚

...As in if Akuma can trade blows with Gouken, spikes wont be a problem.

It doesn't translate over and makes no sense that falling a hundred feet into spikes wouldn't kill him.

How doesn't it translate over?

Quan, don't even bother coming back if you're just going to start in with that portrayal bullshit.

Portrayal and intent is actually important concept to think about.

That said, unless properly defended, it falls flat amongst most.

Because these characters can have their throats slit, etc. take brad pitt as achilles from troy. He threw a spear hundreds of yards with ease showcasing ridiculous strength and skill but his sword strikes weren't knocking people back multiple feet or anything.

It's the same thing with Akuma I am sure. His feats are awesome I am sure but if he falls into spikes from 100 feet he'd die.

Not my fault you don't get it.

Weelllllll I'd reckon his trench feat would take away the threat of falling on spikes. Pressure down there is worse then a 100 ft spiky drop.

Nah Quan, you don't get it. I understand your concepts perfectly. They're just stupid.

So, had you control of the world, what laws would you set in place?

I'd set laws that require anyone with the last name of Pepper to receive a doctorate, anyone with the last name of Sanders to become a Colonel, and other variations.

Feats don't undermine portrayal. When fans start doing so bedlam follows.

I'm right and have always been such. You're very narrow minded.

The removal of low-quality children shows. Today's children just aren't as bright as they used to be. Shows are anything but educating these days ๐Ÿ˜› So random and such stupid humor. Many of the jokes are based on people making fools of themselves or looking stupid.

Alrightythen. Akuma is portrayed as being able to survive a deep trench and trade blows with very powerful characters, thus he > falling on spikes by portrayal.

Don't know what laws I'd add or change... but it would somehow end up chaotic. ๐Ÿ˜

Oh god I hated the Fullmetal Alchemist ending. Its all depressing and not the good kind. 'The world is not perfect' yeah thanks for that. Thats really the words I wanted to go out on. And its all well and good them going 'oh we'll see each other again' but I know they wont. Man, hope Brotherhood ends on a higher note than that. uhuh
