And I do like Kai's opening scenes/music better than any of the ones in the original, but I guess that's not saying much. All and all, DBZ Kai is pretty much as it should be to me, with nothing being dragged out for too long, thanks to like no fillers whatsoever, making it more faithful to the manga.

Oh yeah, what episode was the attack actually called the "spirit blast"? Because I could've sworn I still heard it being called the spirit bomb.

Yeah, they updated the OP & the ED with new artwork (I like the songs they used too), but kept everything the same. DBZ would have looked awesome with updated artwork ala the OP/ED.
That said, yeah, at least there are no fillers.

Thankfully, the old Yugioh comes on right after it so I get to watch it and enjoy it in all it's glory. Dan Green is awesome.

I'm actually reminded of my youth while watching it.

Bandit Keith was so manly in the 4kids version.

Holding up Pegasus by pointing your finger at him? Manly.

Hells yeah.

**** Marik for what happened to Bandit Keith.

I don't think I've even seen the entire original Yugioh series.

Forgivable if you didn't watch after Battle City, the rest doesn't hold up as well.

The only reason to watch that show is if you really like dues ex machina, because Yugi pulls a new uber-card that convieniently wins the match out of his ass every damn episode. And teh writers never bothered to even learn how to play the game.

Avatar, yugioh was not.

So I'm thinking about reviving a few respect threads so I have somewhere to dump the evidence I've found over the years.

y/n?

Go for it, thats why they're there. Most of the respect threads need updating as it is.

I mantain that Duel Monsters in the anime is won depending on whoever is better at making up lies about their cards.

Being able to magically choose which card you draw helps too.

Remember kids, cheating is wrong, unless you use ancient Egyptian Magic to do so.

Somebody get Quan in here.

Ronald McDonald > Thanos. Apologies for the terribad quality of that video.

But then again if I recall
Yugi beat Yami and all

Though try not to entirely confuse
It's not as though he never did lose

Not really seeing why Albedo from Xenosaga's that great a villian. He's just kind of a creepy pedo lunatic imo. He's also like, the least subtle dude ever.

Also x 2 combo: His cape makes him look like a gay fairy.

Hasn't Peach already gotten on you for using the word "gay" as a synonym for stupid?

Unless you literally meant homosexual, in which case I must remind you that there is nothing that says gay is inherently "fairy," or feminine.

I meant homosexually. And I meant that he actually looks like a mythical homosexual fairy.

Also hes a pedophile.
