Jade Empire was something I had wanted to try. Looked like fun.

Just buy a freaking x-box. They're like 20 quid.

Jade Empire was one of Bioware's lower quality games.

Which doesn't say much considering Biowares track record.

Its how we British folk say money. And there are plenty of sweet games for the x-box. Kotor, Jedi academy, Fable, Hitman, Rainbow Six etc etc.

The only games I would buy an Xbox for would be Fable and possibly the original Halo.

This is coming from someone who has been a Playstation child though so obviously there are plenty more games for the Xbox.

Yeah, as can some character bios. At least ones that give some kind of overview of said characters' feats or what they've done in the past.

Bioshock was not that great.

General Kaliero F = ma, beeyotches.

BioShock was an excellent example of atmosphere and immersive storytelling. However, the gameplay was generic and the actual plot not that original or interesting. (BioShock 2, sadly, failed to manage any of those things)

The plot very much wasn't original, though. It was all directly lifted from System Shock 2, which Bioshock was a 'spiritual successor' to.

Keep in mind that I enjoyed BioShock thoroughly, and I think it is incredible to experience. But fair's fair, and it wasn't that groundbreaking as a game to be played.
