Because it is the newest one. I kinda think oot is lame as well despite hearing people rant and rave about it. Zelda games while fun at times seem repetitive and unappealing compared to what I enjoy from games like Dragon Age, Dante's Inferno, Lords of Shadow, and the god of war.

Dunno. Theres something super badass about Links complete lack of badassery. He can wear a fvckin' skirt and elf cap and still kick your ass. He just doesn't give a shit. He knows hes a badass. He doesn't need to wear anything or even act particularly badass to be truely badass. There's something appealling about that. Moreso than someone like Kratos whose obviously trying to be badass and where obviously alot of effort was put in to make him badass. Link don't need that shit. Link just is.

The only reason I still think I even went back and played zelda is because it was the first videogame I played on my nintendo as a kid. It has nostalgic appeal for me.

Spirit Tracks is the newest one. It's better than you'd expect. Zelda games are formulaic, true, but all of them are still very fun and good games. Link is still a badass no matter what, however.
