Its just dumb how the boys getting herioc resolve and stuff makes there bayblades spin faster. They have no control of them at all.

Scratch that, everything about the bayblades is incredibly stupid. At least the Heart of the Cards was actual luck. It didn't casually slug physics in the face like a dirty wifebeater liek bayblades does.

Actually in the Original there are spirits in the beyblades. Presumably said spirits are connected to the kid's spirit and thus heroic resolve indeed makes sense. Not stated in the new one but fits.

Besides, Heroic Resolve shatters physics period in anime. You've read Naruto so I should not need to remind you that Jiraiya forced himself back to life out of sheer will power. 😛

Yeah, other characters don't do it. So its not that bad imo. But basically we don't know what it is throughout so it isn't in your face the entire time. Of course, its still stupid if you see it as mere luck, but whatever!

Code Geass is rarely dumb. The only dumb bits are with the contrived coincidence with Euthemia and some of the giant robot aspects.

That wasn't dumb. It was foreshadowing of stuff and lead to a really great scene.

Its obviously due to her connection to the collective unconciousness. Which is what she's doing, turning Suzaku's own onconscious mind, negative thoughts and suppressed memories upon him. As I said, its fantastic foreshadowing for the Sword of Akasha stuff (lame as it was when it appeared) and also for Suzaku's own psychological problems.

Plus she is a witch, so some magical spells are to be expected. 😉

Speaking of which, Lelouch's genius is not handled well in the show. Like at all. Because no matter how well he can plan for stuff, Suzaku is just going to come in and wreck his sand castle. Vice Versa if it is Kallen instead.

Suzaku was a deconstruction of the Ace Pilot trope. He's the plucky hero fighting for good and justice who with his awesome piloting skills can turn certain defeat into a flawless victory......... and he's fightimg for the Empire. He's like a huge cockslap in the face of the Gundam series iirc.

Still undermines Lelouch's genius. In hindsight, I can only think of a few really impressive things he did.

Nah. He consistently kicks the ever loving crap out of anyone he's not in love friends with throughout. Second episode= kicks ass. Second Cornelia battle = kicks ass. Battle for Tokyo = kicks ass. Season 2 ep 2 = kicks ass. Rescuing his men = kicks ass. Battle for China = kicks ass. Battle for Ze Worldu = kicks ass.

Suzaku is the only one who is a consistent bump in his plans, becuase often he just comes out of nowhere to save doom the day.

I really do think the only reason Lelouch consistently beat Cornelia was because she suddenly decided to suck.

Eh, the second time he completely blindsided her and the third she was clearly borderline insane with grief. Though naturally she wasn't as smart as him anyway. The only reason she won the first was because his men were complete retards and tried to surrender to the genociding troops.

She's still one of the best generals in the series. About.... 4th or third I'd say. Dunno how she stacks up with Schneizel. Plus badass and sexy.

Beyblade is so dumb it's hilarious. I watch it in the mornings to joke about it with a friend of mine. Deal with it, crab.

Even then, she had Zero pegged in their first battle. She knew exactly what he would do. Later she just didn't seem as smart.
