Star Wars lives on in the The Clone Wars series. It's much better than the Prequel Trilogy was, and has some absolutely amazing storylines ad dialogue. Highly recommended.
Granted I am still butthurt about Grievous being turned into a pussy in the movie and the CGI series (Didn't he lose to Ahsoka? Dude come on...).

From what I once read about Grievous in the EU through wookieepedia, I don't think I could stomach it really. ๐ Then again, haven't seen Labyrinth of Evil. And thanks for the report. ^^
Labyrinth of Evil is a book actually. I've heard its one of the better ones, primarily for its excellent portrayal of Grievous.
Also the Revenge of the Sith novel is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the movie. Just a heads up.

Does the novel actually make Anakin's decisions make more sense?

Yes. Remember how pissy he got when they didn't make him a Jedi Master? In the novel its explained that this is because Masters can access special Holocrons with advanced Force techniques and training in them, which he was really, reeeeeally hoping to be able to get to so he could figure out how to 'save' Padme. When he was denied that he basically went into full-on panic mode. He knows betraying the Jedi is really stupid and he damn well knows hes being manipulated but he doesn't care because he's absolutely fixated on saving Padme. And also Palpatines manipulations of him are much more fleshed-out and believable.
Also Anakin is more or less legitimately insane in the novel.
Pretty much imo at least it makes Anakin on the whole much more tolerable and interesting. And all the other characters recieve similar upgrades.

Figures something like that wouldn't warrant a mention in the friggin movies.Really, I don't blame Anakin. Windu was a dick. I'd have cut off his head myself if I were him.
For wanting to kill the most dangerous man in the galaxy because arresting him would do nothing due to his political connections?

Actually, he does almost cut his head off.
'Up from the depths of his furnace heart came an answer so far transcending fury that it sounded cold as interstellar space. "This is an insult to me, and to the Chancellor. Do not imagine that it will be tolerated."
Mace Windu's eyes were as cold as the voice from Anakin's mouth. "Take your seat, young Skywalker."
Anakin matched his stare. Perhaps I'll take yours. His own voice inside his head, had a hot black fire that smoked from the depths of his furnace heart. You think you can stop me from saving my love? You think you can make me watch her die? Go ahead and Vaapad this, you-"Anakin," Obi-Wan said softly. He gestured to an empty seat beside him. "Please."'

Nah. At that moment he was okay I guess. Was mostly talking about how him and the other Jedi Masters treat Anakin like shit throughout the entire series. Between them and the guy that actually appeared to like Anakin, I can't say I blame him.
