Labyrinth of Evil is a book actually. I've heard its one of the better ones, primarily for its excellent portrayal of Grievous.

Also the Revenge of the Sith novel is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the movie. Just a heads up.

A graphic novel kind of book or an actual book?

And yeah, I'm aware of that other part.

Nah. At that moment he was okay I guess. Was mostly talking about how him and the other Jedi Masters treat Anakin like shit throughout the entire series. Between them and the guy that actually appeared to like Anakin, I can't say I blame him.

With Anakin's usual arrogance and whatnot though, the Jedi Masters had good reason/justification for treating him the way they did for most of the series. And the chancellor trying to promote him to the rank of master when the rest of the council knew he wasn't ready at the time? I don't think so.

Knew Mace would die of course, but the way he did in getting cheap-shotted by Sidious and fool Anakin when he was about to win wasn't quite how I would've wanted to remember him...

So I finished God of War III early this morning...the ending was...a bit anti-climactic, I felt. 😐

To quote Neme: I SHALL NOT BE BURIED!!!

Anyways, to those who've also played it, or seen the ending, thoughts?

Anakin probably wouldn't have been so arrogant had they not allowed him to get so close to Palpatine to begin with.

But seriously, I love the scene in Phantom Menace. It could basically be parodied.

Qui Gon: "Masters, I've found a boy. He is incredibly powerful, has more midi-chlorians than all our asses combined, was probably conceived by the force itself, and is most likely the Chosen One!"

Windu: "Great. How old is he?"

Qui Gon: "Like 10 I guess."

Windu: "**** you and your 10 year old god. Now onto business. Those Sith bastards are running around. Let's hope they don't get a hold of anything powerful!"

Seriously, why not just freaking kill Anakin if they were so worried?

Because murdering a ten year old boy is frowned upon?

Because that is not the Jedi way!

Exile him?

Seriously, because of the midichlorian crap, they have definitive proof that Anakin is important in some manner. Something needed to be done with him at least. Shit, I think Yoda should have trained him personally.

Or kill him when he was older and a threat. Or just say no to the council position. Say no until after the war at least.

Being stupid is?

Good is dumb.

Actual.

But this is supposed a Wise Council and stuff.

The thing about the PT-era Jedi is that their ancient ways were basically weakening themselves. The Order had begun to collapse on itself because it was standing against change. The rules that had kept the Jedi around so long were forcing them to stagnate, and they just couldn't cope with something on Palpatine's level of machinations.

the PT Jedi Order is a broken, collapsing group with delusions of their former grandeur.

Odd, since it was confirmed that the PT Jedi Council was the strongest it has ever been.

Goerge referred to them as 'the golden age of the Jedi'. What exactly this means is up to you though.

So, just found out that my brother-in-law is being sent to Afghanistan. He and my sister have only been married for three months, as of Tuesday.

That really sucks.

That's not cool.

Booooo!

Both my God Brothers had to go to Iraq when shit was at it's most heated (2004-2006) and I feared every day that one of them would be killed for something I didn't support.

No kidding. But hey, souvenirs. And when he comes back, it will be a touching heartwarming moment. Have music prepared.

Then again, I'm just speaking from experience.

HoOoOoOnK. 😮)

They've been apart for long periods of time already. He spent a year in Korea and was stationed in Georgia for a few months before she moved down with him and they got married. So it's nothing they aren't used to (sadly). It's more the fact that he's going into active combat this time, and she's likely moving back up here for a few months.
