Hey, your kid took over the world. Clearly evil is in your blood.

Or maybe I'm just attracted to naughty Eeeevil women.

I'd be proud, but if given the chance would betray them to take their place~

Betraying your own kid? What a douche.

You just said the magic word.

If the kid was foolish enough to take over the world and not suspect his father, then I didn't raise him well >:

I don't get it.

YouTube video

Oh.

.............

52 is so awesome!

Well, on the subject of parenting and what & what not to allow kids to be exposed to, I know my children wouldn't start playing video games on the PS5 1080p blu-ray wifi megadualcoreexplosionbox 360 until they're at least 17 or 18 or so. Probably buy an SNES or something off e-bay first and make sure they know what time it is when it comes to video games. 😉

Courage the Cowardly Dog is amazing.

If my child conquered the world I would be proud.

Question: If your kid becomes a maniac and conquers the entire world, would you feel proud or not? To everyone. 😮

It would depend really. If he conquered the world for selfish reasons, I would not be proud of what he's doing. If he conquered the world to try and make it a better place (this would perhaps be the best solution for the world's governments keep making things worse with their greed, their poor sense of morality, their power struggles, and pointless debates that hardly ever end), I would perhaps be proud as long as he doesn't become mad with power and becomes a maniac like you said.

Wouldn't conquering the world to try and make it a better place be a selfish reason?

No.

Explain.

Because you have done things that go against your personal beliefs, making you resent yourself, casting them aside for the good of the world?

Why should changing the world into a better place automatically mean going against your personal beliefs?

Explain.

The desire to better the world need not be selfish. You can do so purely for the benefit of others after all. Look at Spiderman, he does so simply because he feels a responsibility to act.

The desire to better the world doesn't need to be selfish. But it is entirely possible for someone to better the world for selfish reasons. Peter Wiggun for example, became a Hegemon basically because he wanted to prove that he didn't have anger issues.

You didn't say that though. You asked if 'conquering the world to try and make it a better place' would be selfish. Block question. The answer is no, because you can do it for unselfish reasons.
