Oh yeah, that was pretty cool, and it wasn't that long ago when I finally saw the 3rd issue where he went Super Saiyan. Also, guess this shouldn't come as too much a surprise, but that Ultimate Tenkaichi game turned out to be another disappointment after all, so I didn't get it. The roster was meh, and the ultimate specials were even recycled from the Raging Blast games (same animations and everything). Lazy. The gameplay graphics looked even worse than the Raging Blast games, though the cutscene graphics were good. And the character creation thing was pretty limited, to where you could mostly only make a Saiyan type of character. I suppose it's still a bit of an improvement over the other games that came out after Tenkaichi 3 though, but still not enough for me to actually get.
Perhaps Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 2 and 3 have just spoiled me to the point of having too high standards when it comes to DBZ games nowadays.
Heh. And here I was thinking that it would be okay. Character creation was supposed to be good, but yeah, it did not look so great.
Figures it'd be using Raging Blast's graphics and animations. I didn't like them a lot. Mostly because they were too smooth and the fighters came off as slow. Tenkaichi 3's animations had them coming off as fast-hitters because it wasn't as smooth.
Yeah. Tenkaichi 3 was probably the last good DB-related game. Only problem I had with it was its camera scheme for two players.
