Heh. And here I was thinking that it would be okay. Character creation was supposed to be good, but yeah, it did not look so great.
Figures it'd be using Raging Blast's graphics and animations. I didn't like them a lot. Mostly because they were too smooth and the fighters came off as slow. Tenkaichi 3's animations had them coming off as fast-hitters because it wasn't as smooth.Yeah. Tenkaichi 3 was probably the last good DB-related game. Only problem I had with it was its camera scheme for two players.
This brings me much joy.

Do you hate it as much as I suspect you do?
It's pretty damn mediocre and generic. It literally is World of Warcraft: Star Wars edition.
I think the things that annoy me the most are the fact that the light/dark choices are sometimes completely nonsensical (makes it hard if you're aiming for a particular alignment) and dark side choices tend to be the typical "kill whatever's annoying you" sort, the loading for the cutscenes is far too long and very immersion-breaking, and the whole "everything's fully voiced!" thing they bragged so much about? Well, yeah, everything is voiced. What little there is, anyway. Basically cutscenes are voiced, when you go up to a vendor they'll greet you...and that's it. Random NPCs don't talk at all, there's no background chatter, nothing. There's actually very little spoken content - and hence dialog - in the game at all.
Also, they ****ed up Mirialans.
Some of the dialog choices you get are great, though. Both my Sith and my Jedi I made have been snarking it up and being generally hilarious.

I had feared that would be the case.Man, the game could of been so super special snowflake awesome, IMO. Damn shame how it turned out.
In all honesty, it's not a terrible game. And I really enjoy the characterization and some of the choices you get are great (though it really does not make sense sometimes what they decide are dark and light).
It's just...nothing special. At all. If you've played WoW and KOTOR, you've played TOR. It is the very definition of generic. It's not bad, but it's not great. It's just okay. And it's certainly not worth paying $60 and then another $15 a month to play.
I have no idea why I love this cover so much. Except maybe I do.
Man am I hoping they don't mess this up...

Know how you feel. I get the reasoning behind getting an older girl for Katniss but...I'm not sure.

Pretty much.
