He has? Sweet.

Then again, Congress can override the veto. 93 to 7 in the Senate. No idea about the House.

Yeah he already said he'd veto NDAA if it gets passed.

Obama sent US military and supplies to fight in Yemen, Libya, and Pakistan. Coming soon to a war theater near you... Syria and Iran!

Also military action in Libya was illegal because congress never gave consent. Although if I remember correctly he mentioned that he derived the authority for the war from the UN, which as you know has no authority over a sovereign country.

Congress hasn't given consent for any war/conflict since Vietnam, if I remember correctly. Bush going into Iraq and Afghanistan was certainly very illegal.

I believe the Gulf War had congressional approval...

Yup, Bush is a war criminal and should be put on trial immediately.

However that doesn't excuse Obama's actions.

There's a bit of a difference between sending people and supplies somewhere, though, and actually starting fighting there.

K well we actually have troops fighting in all three locations.

Originally we weren't supposed to have any in Libya however they moved some in shortly after it started. Either way, bombing the mess out of any country with sovereign leadership pretty much counts as an act of war.

China has already warned that any further action against Pakistan will cause them to intervene. Not happy times madame.

Edit: also the attempted assassination of foreign leaders counts as a war crime... which they did against Ghaddafi and ended up killing his family instead. That's a super not cool thing to do.

I agree, but the fact of the matter is that if Bush hadn't started shit in the Middle East like he did, the problems in that region would not be like they are now. It's going to take a looooong long time to clear up all of the messes that were set off by that action.

After doing a little research (like reading the actual bill) and seeing some of the comments at the bottom of the link, it's easy to tell that fake article is fake, aside from the badly photoshopped image at the top... lol

What is a work of fiction that you hate but everyone else seems to love?

Weeds.

Devil May Cry and Bayonetta I guess.

Twilight.

Is liked by a minor audience, hated by many more.

I wouldn't call its legion of fans a "minor audience," rather its a specific demographic, as the vast majority of Twilight fans are young girls.

Granted, if Nemesis feels like the people that surround him are fans of Twilight, and as such are young girls, well... Nemesis just revealed more about himself than I think he intended to. 131

Blade Runner

I thought that movie was boring as shit, except for the climax, which was awesome.

The book wasn't much better.

I've never seen it.

But you're also one of those assholes who can't appreciate classics because you've been "spoiled" by the countless shit that rips off the original.

estahuh

What the hell are you talking about, Shas'O? uhuh

edit- No, wait, I get it. Shut the hell up. uhuh

The plural of ******* isn't censored? This site is weird.

Also, Shas'O? What now?

I don't know why the actual word itself is censored, so yeah ๐Ÿ˜›

So, my dog is still at the vet, but doing way better. We went to see her yesterday and she was actually walking around on her own and wagging her tail at us and kept trying to make a break for the door when someone opened it.

And then this morning my mom called the vet to check up on her and they said that they weren't going to do surgery like we were originally planning, because all of the fluid that was in her chest and belly is gone. She's still not eating, but being as she won't eat the food they have there when she's well, not a surprise. We're boiling some chicken and rice to bring over there and see if we can coax her into eating.
