I really love how so many of my theories on the setting of the Legend of Zelda are either proven entirely correct or are similar to my own.
It makes me feel awesome. Shin and I have indeed discussed that kind of nonsense GK brings to the table.

Apparently, in Skyward Sword, the deities that took over ruling Hyrule from the cosmos, are not the three goddesses, which explains rather dickheaded deeds like flooding the world to imprison Ganondorf. I called this shit years before the game was released, and ScreamPaste can confirm that.
Now all that needs to happen is for the Triforce to turn out not to be the immortal essence of the goddesses left in Hyrule for the mortals they created, but are rather their cosmic corpses, the last remaining shards of their power after they used the bulk of themselves to create Hyrule.
