I am going to post this excerpt for FA's benefit since he can't.

"If the Emperor fails then the Daemons of Chaos will flood into the galaxy. Every living human will become a gateway for the destruction of Mankind and the stuff of Warpspace will submerge the galaxy. There will be no physical matter. No space. No time. Only Chaos.

From page 101 of the 5e rulebook.

So yeah, entire galaxy becomes one big happy Eye of Terror.

Well, that's that. Traitor legions get annihilated by the Empire. Chaos Daemons win out in the end.

Wookiepedia says otherwise.

The link is to the Galaxy Gun page. FA, check it out.

Wookie is non-canon, and that picture is fake.

It was too slow and clumsy to avoid a ramming star destroyer?

Lol.

Not what really happened. If you get the chance, you should read Dark Empire. It's stupid, but a fun read, kind of like every single Star Wars book ever created.

Nice phallic object there.

IKR? Obviously fake.

"Upon exiting hyperspace and homing in on its target, the projectile's automated defenses would activate to deter enemy forces. Automated laser cannon turrets exchanged laser fire with warships while thick armor plating and powerful energy shields deflected even the most advanced ion cannons and turbolasers."

This is the important part.

The projectile can apparently be stopped, and doesn't fly through the planet at FTL speeds, having to slow down substantially.

Also, apparently the Galaxy Gun never left Byss' orbit.

Blax, what makes you think it can?

The quote doesn't support your point.

It has a hyperdrive.

Only the Traitor Legions would obviously rock the Empire. estahuh

Magnus destroys all their ships with his mind and mindrapes their leaders from across the galaxy. 131

Let's go with SSD. 😄

It surely does. It has missile-based defenses and is reduced to sub-light travel after leaving hyperspace.

How fast is Star Wars sub-light travel by the way.

It's not actually 360 kph is it?

Since that's slower than your average Space Marine Landspeeder.

It has a hyperdrive.

So does your face.

ROU Killing Time vs the entire Navy of the Imperium + all of the Space Marine chapters. Yeeeee-haaaw!

The Daleks or Time Lords would beat it.

Really, the TARDIS alone has the required power to beat it.

Bad Wolf>>>

The Time Lords vs Gurren Lagann would be a good match. I can see the Doctor harnessing Spiral Energy and just going ballistic on the universe. mmm

Doctor Who is considered to be the strongest Science Fiction setting (With only Manifold contesting that claim), allegedly.

It does have Multiversal weapons and shit, and Bad Wolf is about Cosmic Cube level IMO.

Gurren Lagann ain't got shit on Dr. Who and Manifold, that's for sure.

It can be reduced to sub-light speed by intridictors, which is what those systems are designed for. Intridictors are as common in the star wars universe as a tie-fighter would be. The Galaxy gun wouldn't actually be much of a threat if it could be countered by intridictors.

Depends on the ship.

I strongly dislike Karen Traviss.

Why

Many reasons I'm sure.

According to her theres only 3 million clone troopers in the Republics army.

And theres about a million planets in the Republic, so yeah, thats pretty dumb. 3 clones per planet and they somehow win?

Is that including the Outer Rim?

I think so. The Republics membership is 1.3 million planets.

Well huh.

Man, I love awesome misunderstandings. So funny.
