Been reading a bit of Glasslands, as well as reviews for it.
I just hate how she steamrolls over continuity so much. She's a good writer as far as characterization and such, but she's too ****ing pretentious to do adaptation novels. She can't write a single book without vomiting her liberal arts hippie moral agenda all over it, which is fine, but don't do it when writing novels that are based off of military sci-fi like Halo or Gears of War or, in the case of Star Wars, clones. It's just irritating.
I can't find her rant about how the Jedi are evil, but I remember it being really hilarious.
Nvrmd, found it.

The Daleks or Time Lords would beat it.Really, the TARDIS alone has the required power to beat it.
Bad Wolf>>>
Two races who in their prime are not only time travellers but able to manipulate dimensional barriers and even use time stopping as defences. Yeah they'd probably beat any fictional army that's not like, Superman's race or stronger, and even then.... they were supposed to be pretty much unfathomably smart so who even knows. Unstoppable army of big.... pepper pots, ftw!
Such a fangirl, oh well...
So... what did I miss? =)

Sounds like she should write a 40K novel.

Made me laugh, especially because I hated exactly all the issues they brought up that made Skyrim's opening so underwhelming.
"Well I suppose they could have killed you off and then said 'Okay, now make another character.' Terrible design idea but you gotta admit it would be pretty funny."
