Yes of course, because not liking a particular genre of game which attracts a particular type of gamer is totally popular =pI just think the people who do play them have difficulties believing others don't like it, and instead have decided it's easier to invent a hate-train they have all jumped aboard =p
Someone bought me BF3 for christmas but honestly... I returned it =\
The "particular type of gamer" thing just made me laugh.
So the other day at work, a customer was talking about CoD and how it's the only game he plays, and when he had come in, my coworker and I were talking about Skyrim. So he asked about it, and asked if it was multiplayer. We said no, that it's a singleplayer-only game.
He was shocked and amazed that games exist without multiplayer. "How can they do that? Don't they know that everyone plays multiplayer? That's the main point of a game!"
I don't know how the hell I kept a straight face, but good lord. Yes, there are singleplayer games out there! There are lots of them, in fact, and I think that this need to include multiplayer in everything ever as of late really has a negative impact on gaming in general, because then developers and publishers skimp on the singleplayer portion because, well, who cares about that, THERE'S MULTIPLAYER.
Also, I don't like Halo because it is the definition of generic and mediocre and did not do a single thing for gaming other than make generic mediocre shooters more acceptable. I used to really like CoD (at least the Modern Warfares); Cod:4 I played the hell out of, both campaign and multiplayer with my friends. The game had a great story to it and the storytelling was done very well so that you were able to tell just how tense and messed up the world was with little subtle things, and also had quite a few "WHAT THE ****" moments. MW2 was pretty good but not much changed, and the story and storytelling slipped, and MW3 just went for completely over-the-top and ridiculous. They basically went straight for multiplayer and left the singleplayer campaign a secondary concern.
Yeah, turns out she rather fancies the guy, even after all the rape. As in, she gets just a little bit obsessive about him. Also she eats a raw heart, which was pretty damn hardcore. I like Dany, she's wierd.
I'm almost finished with A Storm of Swords. And at the moment I'm really hoping this was an actual thing. Someone really needs to kill that utter peice of shit Gregor.

Hi. How many times do I have to say STOP POSTING SEXUALLY EXPLICIT SHIT before it sinks in to people?

Dany is a badass and winds up arguably wielding the most power of any character in the series.
