Woohoo, official off-topic thread!

I can't seperate those three very easily.

I always found it funny how Gotham city looked and acted like garbage prohibition era shit in BTAS, while in the exact same universe Metropolis looked very post-modern in STAS.

Its the same way Batman is edgy and tortures people and Superman is a boyscout. Plus Metropolis is the DCU capital iirc.

Twas a pretty kewl show. Not as great as BTAS or STAS, but kewl nonetheless.

As someone who recently re-watched some of BTAS and is currently watching JLU I have to disagree. JLU is a marked improvment in all ways except nostalgia.

Gotham: 1930.
Metropolis: 2015.

Loved it.

I haven't watched BTAS in years, so I can't defend it from that standpoint.
I remember liking it more than I did JLU, and there's the nostalgia factor you mentioned. I also lump Batman Beyond with BTAS.

Of course, BTAS never did have DCAU Lex Luthor who is uber. mmm

DCU is also quite superior to the previous Justice League, though I know its really a continuation of that series. I think I just like the fact that it has an actual story arc rather than only monster of the week stories. And I like the fact that its actually used the fact that the League has gotten bigger in its themes. I'm liking the Cadmus arc immensely because its a really nice discussion on Superheroes and how much power they have compared to the rest of the world.

anyone remember the story where some villain was mindcontrolling superman and trying to make an amateur porn movie between him and barda? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah, the Cadmus arc was pretty much the peak of the series.

Kind of unfortunate that a video with Hitler in it is the best thing that's been posted in this thread in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, it's also not surprising.

And Hitler won that one. He won the first one to, imo.

Me too.

And this:

The band's name is Elvis Hitler, they HAVE to be awesome.

"I don't love you anymore, I'm gonna crush your skull. ๐Ÿ˜„"

Hey, look at that, Elvis Hitler. I need to go to a Rockabilly show soon, used to hit up the locals every weekend.

Also, yay, Lichy Kingie.

Damnit, Wikipedia and several other sites I frequent are down. SOPA hasn't passed yet and it's already ****ing me.

I think they've gone on strike in protest.

Yeah. That's kind of the point ๐Ÿ˜›

I'm glad so many sites are blacked out for the day. Not only does it prove a point, but it might actually get people to realize what the consequences of this passing would be and they'll actually do something. Or, at the very least, make more people aware of it since mass media has done a (not at all) surprisingly little amount of coverage on it.

Oh shit, a life without access to some websites. Scary.

Ours is truly a generation of manly men. uhuh

"Manliness" is overrated, especially since it seems to go hand-in-hand with "being a douchebag".

Also, this isn't just "no access to some websites". Censorship is a huge deal.

Mmmm mostly true =(

But still, I like to think there are a few Manly men with whom it goes hand in hand with gentlemanliness ;p But alas, I think those guys are a dying breed =(

Got to love how the US is deciding something that affects us all... How very... American =\
