It's the difference between Duke Nukem and Thors the Troll (Vinland Saga, is the first example of a gentlemanly manly man to come to mind) Shin.
Punching aliens: Manly.
Throwing shit: Douchey.
You sure? Cause I haven't actually played Duke Nukem Forever, but I'm pretty sure he saves the world in it. If along the way he punches aliens, awesome. Alien punching does become stupid when you have access to more efficient means of alien disposal though, yes. mmm
Unfortunately he also literally throws feces. Which is just terrible.
Edit: There's a difference between necessary violence, such as the aforementioned alien punching, which I assume saves the world, and violence because being-a-dickhead. 😛
I wouldn't condone the punching of peaceful aliens. mmm That should go without saying.

Punching aliens isn't "manly", it's ****ing stupid. As is just about any violent act.
Because of how stupid and wrong violence is.
Edit: And original Duke Nukem, though a dick, is meant to be a parody of that type of character. Though, Duke Nukem Forever apparently took that "humor" too far.

Duke Nukem Forever is a terrible game, yeah.
Honestly, my bigger issue with that game isn't the fact that the mechanics are shit and it's so horribly dated, and more this stuff being so prevalent. Just. No.

"Manliness" is overrated, especially since it seems to go hand-in-hand with "being a douchebag".Also, this isn't just "no access to some websites". Censorship is a huge deal.
Being a douchebag is not manly. Being charming is though. 😮
In the grand scheme of things, is it really? *muses philosophically*

But still, I like to think there are a few Manly men with whom it goes hand in hand with gentlemanliness ;p But alas, I think those guys are a dying breed =(
How come I can distinctly remember talking about my gentllemanliness and getting chewed out for my troubles? mmm
Edit: Whoa!
Have you guys heard Daniel Floyd from Extra Credits talking in live action? He sounds so different.
