Huh, with a mental calc I got something very close to 21 actually. Because I took "value of the first roman numeral alphabetically" to be C or 100. Dunno what the actual answer is though. Should be smaller than 22.25.

I see where I went wrong. Wording. The numbers are almost right.

It was supposed to be the first roman numeral alphabetically, and that's value

So, C being 100

8120 - 100 = 8020

Reaper Man = 11th book

8020 + 11 = 8031

V's = 7

7 x 52 = 364 + 1 = 365

8031 / 365 = 22.00

Which is still wrong =_=

If I substitute C as 100 instead of I as 9, the final solution is 22 on the dot.
