The first Resident Evil is a horrible video game movie, but it's a pretty decent generic action flick.
I thought the first Tomb Raider movie was okay.
Prince of Persia is pretty darn good.

Well, yeah. That's why it turned out as good as it was. They didn't try to tie it in particularly close to any of the games, and instead just borrowed elements from the series as a whole.

I think the closes to a good video game adaption we got was, as everyone said, Prince of Persia, even though I hated the potrayals and the lack of monsters.
