It's not censorship. As a private company, google has the right to restrict what sort of content they want associated with their ads.

Imagine if one day Google gets to place its ads on say, Wikipedia. "Guys, that article you have on rape... yeah, it kinda has to go. Thank you for your cooperation!"

This is basically identical to what Wal-Mart did to rubbermaid, they controlled the money and forced rubbermaid's prices so low rubbermaid couldn't actually cut a profit and went bankrupt.
