Alfred has been armed in the comics. In front of Batman too.

Not having Cassie is dumb though.

Isn't that only to like, defend himself or Wayne Manor since hes about 70 and not a superhero who can afford to not use guns?

If thats all the cartoon does then fine, but it doesn't look like it.

Yeah; he guards the manor basically.

TBH though, Batman's feelings about guns tend to shift between hating them completely, and just refusing to use them. I mean, he works with the GCPD, and rarely seems to have an issue with them shooting people.

But yeah, if it's Alfred running around blowing people away, that would suck.

I just don't like the ideas behind the cartoon. Alfred running round shooting up the place and turn to cgi. Batman looks too goofy and Pyg as the main doesn't sound as interesting choice. If they wanted and villian that hasn't been done much why not use Hugo Strange who is more friegthning than Pyg?

Isn't Pyg the guy who did a weird sexy dance in front of Robin before vomiting for no reason? IDK, but this is more frightening than anything Strange has ever done. Dudes just a creepy bald guy obsessed with Batman. Pyg seems to be genuinely disturbing and psychotic, much moreso than I would like for a childrens show.

Edit: Also that guy who hated ME2's plot (video ont the last page) really needs to learn was a 'theme' is. 'Recruiting people to fight the bad guys' isn't a theme you dick. That's the plot. Jesus Christ this man is stupid.

All I know is that Jason needs to atleast appear in some shape or form. Its High time, he gets some more media coverage. As for the guy yeah he could of did a better job analyzing the plot better. I do like his Dragon Age 2 coverage because it addresses everything wrong with the game in detail so he's not complete fail.

He also wants to remove all the Loyalty missions (the best parts of the game) and rewrite everyones backstories to be involved with the main plot. Which would be SO contrived it would make my teeth ache. All the characters (he wants to get rid of Jacob, Grunt, Jack, Thane and Kasumi) having something in their pasts to do with the Collectors or the Reapers? Vomit.

I don't even know why I'm still watching him anymore.

Having the reapers involved in the characters back story is retarded as the reapers are just now reappearing sence the last cycle. Not to mention all of them having a common back story is would be redundant and destroy anything unique about them. It would be like Naruto where everyone has dead parents and you would no longer care about their individual plights as they are the ****ing same just with different tints.

I don't know if thats what he wants. He just complains about how the squad is inconsequential to the plot (except that the entire plot is about building up the squad so he's full of shit), and says that their backstories should have something to do with the main plot without going into details.

He also has a buch of gameplay improvements that sound good but are really unreasonable from a design standpoint.

Not really. Any tension I felt was because the game was just that atmospheric and creepy.

Point taken about the atmosphere but I think not having regenerative health and having a health bar that requires something for it to fill back up would add even more tension as you have to be careful when to use it. It's not exactly scary but it makes it a challenge nontheless.

I am, tbh. Everything I've seen about 6 has made me want the game more. Having regenerating health isn't high on my list of concerns.

Having regenerating health loses a sense of realism for this game. It's Resident Evil. It needs some of that realism to make it more interesting as you're a human against all this. It needs no inspiration from the likes of Gears of War that tells you "who needs medicine when you can stand behind a wall?"

Btw, this is not an automatic turn off for me for the game overall and I'm still getting it. I'm just not okay with the minor changes is all. Also, I'm not intending to bash Gears. I like the games but I don't think it belongs in this kind of franchise. It's Resident-frikkin-Evil, people.

You do have to refill it though; it's not complete regeneration, only partial. If it was complete regeneration, then I might have an issue.

Resident Evil? Realism? Surely you jest.

At the least it removes Survival Horror completely off the table. Whether that's good or bad is up to the player and whether you like Dead Space I guess.

I don't know, tbh. I've been watching the gameplay videos, and the Leon stuff really made me feel like I'd be getting something that was back to the horror roots of the original games. Not completely, but sort of a, Dawn of the Dead to the original's Night Of, it that makes sense.

I'd be fine with just horror.

I just meant that you can't really struggle to survive with regenerating health. Anymore moreso than you would in an action game I mean. It can still be horror, but not survival horror.

Grunt

But....Grunt's backstory IS connected to the Collectors, he's partly made from Collector tech

:U

Oh, well yeah, I agree there.

Though I think it would be interesting to see how players will fare when they're down to their last block of health, knowing that a bad use of tactics in the next room could get them killed.

I disagree - it depends on the rate of regeneration.

Health that slowly regenerates is great in the long run, but won't necessarily save you short-term.

GW/GW2 has a system with that that I quite like, where it doesn't regen at all when you're in a fight, and if it is regenerating and you do get in a fight it stops again. It's helpful when you're not killing things, but when you are in fights it's not going to do you any good.

True. I guess I just assumed it would be the 'wait behind a wall for a few seconds' kind of regeneration.

As did I.

YouTube video

Another crappy Kinect game. What a surprise.

It being done in blocks, i think in and of itself is a good idea.

Holy shit. I'd heard the Kinect is bad but wow is that crap! The game actually looked really good.

Fail.
