Why is it that for like half the morality options in SWTOR I feel like the "dark" choice would actually be better suited as the "light" choice?I think they don't cover enough middle ground... I guess it's hard to with stuff like this.
All darkside choices can seem to be lightside..... from a certain point of view.
IDK, some of the choices are really stupid. Like where its apparently the good thing to tell someones parents that they died rather than tell them that they've been alive and brainwashed to kill people. Actually telling the parents has them weeping and denouncing him as a monster. Lady, he was taken as a child and DRUGGED SO HE'D DO THAT. You ****ing idiots.
On the other hand some of them are really good. A Jedi feels that he's enjoying combat too much and that he won't fight anymore. The darkside choice is to explain to him that this is a war where you don't have the luxury of thinking about things like that and telling him that you've personally killed thousands of Imperials by this point. Sometimes you just have to do some evil things in a war. I liked that. It made my character seem like an actual human being with thoughts about her own actions rather than just being a Mwahaha Dark Jedi.
Lion-O in the first couple episodes is selfless and pretty much the only non-racist cat and it's blatantly obvious he is self-conscious about his role of being the future king and his belief that technology exists. It's later revealed that he also believes Tygra would have been a better king.
Spoiled? Please. Lion-O is not the one who said "You'll always be second place."

Surprisingly I agree. He is very likable during the fall of Thundera. It's only afterwards that he starts to act like a baboon's *******.

You also have to bear in mind it was one of BioWare's first forays into the whole "morality" issue in games. They obviously wouldn't have it as in-depth and polished as they do nowadays.
umm... This game came out like 11 months ago or so. You're probably thinking of KOTOR.
I am speaking of the MMO. SWTOR
