I wish. No, people are suggesting that the dialogue tree in Origins is superior to the wheel in DA2. Which I absolutely agree with since the wheel was handled atrociously in 2.The OP said that she found the tree more intricate. Gaider told her that she was wrong and suggested that her screen must have been gunked up. He said that in Origins the dialogue was still just Nice/Sarcastic/Aggressive choices. Which is complete poop.
Threads here. I'm at the bit where he's defending the paraphrasing the wheel does. I don't know why this is even an issue, Deus Ex already solved this:
Boom, problem solved. Theres a paraphrase for the guys who don't want to read every line and then hear it said to them and theres the whole spoken line for those who don't like it when they pick one line and the character says something else.
And as someone pointed out, you could easily create the option to display the full-text or paraphrase in the options menu, to switch between them or turn one option off at your leisure. Bioware is just being lazy and uncreative here.
Of course the real reason why won't change the wheel is because they've patented it.
DAO, for my money, had a dialogue tree that shitted all over DA2 and Mass Effect's.
Though like someone said, Alpha Protocol had an excellent one too.

I just finished ME3, I should've read the spoilers 🙁. Then again after seeing the other two endings I'm almost inclined to be complacent with the ending I got.
