I know Flash is faster.

No. Feats and portrayals go hand in hand, at least in terms of vs matches.

Superman kept up with Barry; there's no evidence that he matched Barry completely, nor that he's as fast as you say he is. That, and Superman doesn't constantly see the world in slow motion the way Barry seems to.

Hard feats are better than what writers intend.

Hard feats come first in terms of importance. Everything else is secondary.

What you said about Superman's selective visual speed has what relevance, I don't really know. Seeing as the point is we're talking about when he does go all out. Barry does not have to speed up or slow down his thoughts. If he had to do so, then by the time he thinks of doing that, the attosecond events would have already passed him by.

Superman has a decent number of feats being thousands of times faster than light. Both in movement and flight. He has *statements* --not even necessarily from the same writers that gave him MFTL feats--that put him more conservatively at lightspeed to a few multiples above.

Feats are the harder evidence. I don't arbitrary decide where someone's average is, I just take them at their best feats--provided they have enough explanation to not warrant the PIS tag or something.

The art was good as was the voice acting. Choreography was a bit meh and that ending confused me. I just don't see Superman going THAT far to beat up some guy lol.

After rewatching the battle I kind of agree. Goku at least showed him mercy by destroying the kryptonite after Supes got knocked into Lexcorp, yet Superman still went as far as he did to beat him which included endangering the earth and then not seeming to give a shit after the earth was blown up? Someone was being a dick and out-of-character. 313

I've never seen a Death Battle before, but that was... very impressive. A lot of work went into that. Very very impressive.

That was glorious... had to hang up on the misses just so I wouldn't be disturbed while watching it... because priorities ahah

I don't understand Aura's Superman hate but whatever.

A guy who is literally "As strong as he needs to be" is boring to me.

It kinda puts that misunderstanding Goku had in the beginning about Superman destroying the Earth into Harsher than Hindsight.

Blax you hate everything. That is your job. Do it right.

The main draw of Superman isn't seeing him beat anything, its more about the adventures he goes on itself, and the heavy doses of science fiction in his stories, that and seeing how he interacts with the world on a day to day basis.

Try to read the All-Star Superman series if you ever get the chance. That story was all about Superman at his core. Any fights he has are secondary elements.

I swear that story made me a better person. It's only through reading that a few years ago that I actually became a Superman fan again at all, whereas the last time I liked him before that was in elementary school.

👆

You don't even need to read it. Watch the movie. It's a pretty good adaption. Not as good as the actual comic though.

Same. I wasnt much of a fan until I saw All-Star (and then 3 other movies.. then the JL cartoon..) and the respect came back.

All Star Superman is great.

Also read Kingdom Come for another good alt Superman story.

Kay I see a bunch of recommendations that mean nothing since I've long ago lost any desire to get into Superman. Movie didn't work, cartoon didn't work(any of them), and so on.

You suck.

its ok superman would still save your life

I wasn't recommending for your sake.

I know you have terrible taste.

Superman is a legit lame character though, like most of the people in DC.

If it wasn't for the amazing characters, like Supergirl, Wonder Woman and Slade, it would be a lost cause.

Though it's writing is way better than Marvel's. Like waaaaay better. Nothing Marvel has written in the past ten years comes even close to Identity Crisis in quality.

What about Batwoman? She's gay, which automatically makes her as cool as Wonder Woman, who is also gay (shhh, its a secret).

Superman is a great character you stupid sodomite, you take it up the ass from heifers with strap-ons.

Identity Crisis was pretty decent. Also, try Joker, Killing Joke, The Long Halloween (LOEB WRITING A GOOD STORY!?), or Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth, for good Batman stories.

I've read Killing Joke and The Long Halloween. They just made me hate Batman, tbh.

I liked her better when she was just a cripple. 313
