I know Flash is faster.No. Feats and portrayals go hand in hand, at least in terms of vs matches.
Superman kept up with Barry; there's no evidence that he matched Barry completely, nor that he's as fast as you say he is. That, and Superman doesn't constantly see the world in slow motion the way Barry seems to.
Hard feats are better than what writers intend.
Hard feats come first in terms of importance. Everything else is secondary.
What you said about Superman's selective visual speed has what relevance, I don't really know. Seeing as the point is we're talking about when he does go all out. Barry does not have to speed up or slow down his thoughts. If he had to do so, then by the time he thinks of doing that, the attosecond events would have already passed him by.
Superman has a decent number of feats being thousands of times faster than light. Both in movement and flight. He has *statements* --not even necessarily from the same writers that gave him MFTL feats--that put him more conservatively at lightspeed to a few multiples above.
Feats are the harder evidence. I don't arbitrary decide where someone's average is, I just take them at their best feats--provided they have enough explanation to not warrant the PIS tag or something.
