Thanos's alien army invaded Earth, not Loki's.
Hurrr and the League of Shadows didn't belong to Bane it belonged to Talia. Thanos army wouldn't have been able to invade Earth in the first place if it wasn't for Loki's plan- the same can not be said of Bane and his usefulness for Talia.
Is it possible that Talia did all the planning? Sure. But what is inarguable is that Bane had to rely on solely his own abilities to put the plan into action, physically.
Which is incrediby vague and undefined. What exactly were these physical abilities that made the plans work? Standing around with a menacing posture? Beating up a rusty Batman who wasn't even taken into consideration in their plans because he'd been out of the picture for damn near a decade. Try harder son.
Sure, the revelation of Talia was the lamest shit ever, but Bane still manages to be a more threatening and better villain than the lolcow that was Avengers Loki. Thor Loki is a different story.
The
only threatening thing about Bane was Tom Hardy being proficient in the art of badass posture. His muffled-barney voice was not threatening, being Talia's forever-alone hover-hand boyfriend was not threatening, throwing a bunch of lousy haymakers and clumsy back-breakers was not threatening.
Loki wasn't threatening at all, but it's not in his nature to be threatening- to the contrary, he weighs like 90 pounds, wears a tight green leather jumpsuit with horns attached to it, and has long flowing hair. His entire design as a character has never been to be intimidating or threatening.
Tony Stark fights like a dumb brick, that he is a technical genius means exactly dick.
Tony Stark fights like a man who smart enough to use his money to make a suit that's actually useful- can't say the same for Bruce.
Banner's intelligence proved useful in defeating Loki... When? He just beat him up. Also nigga **** you, Banner didn't do shit in the movie with any tactical or strategic merit, nor did he in the 2008 movie.
Attempting to dodge the fact that Bruce displayed exactly zero Batman-esque intelligence throughout the entire movie. You can't dance around me, nigro.
Batman used his knowledge of Bane's weakness to defeat him.
No he didn't- he did the exact same thing to Bane that he did in the first fight, it's just that for entirely unexplained reasons, throwing haymakers at Bane's face did nothing in the first fight, while it ****ed up his mask in the second. lolNolan.
Loki was easily subdued by Thor when he stopped holding back too much, and was ragdolled by Hulk. Also an arrow blew up in his face. Also Black Widow managed to manipulate the god of manipulation, IMHO the worst scene in the movie.
Widow mind****ing him is the only decent complaint of this bunch. Thor and Hulk are both demigods who can level a city- Hawkeye's arrow didn't do anything except inconvience him, and even then, Hawkeye showed more physical prowess in this one movie than Batman showed in all three of his.
Loki was a joke, his few moments of competence are sandwiched between great periods of uncle tomfoolery, you sir, you are a blight. [/B]
Loki was a joke- but Bane was a far bigger one.
