So has anyone ever watched a movie or read something that seems to be beloved by all but you personally don't like anything ya see?
Pretty much all those Gundams I tried to watch had reviews on the sites saying '92% FAWKING CLASSIC I JIZZ LONG TIME' but all of them were really mediocre to outright turkeyshit.
I also couldn't get into Silent Hill 2. You may commence the flogging.....
I hope it wasn't anything I recommended that brought about this question. Because if you don't like Bodacious Space Pirates as much as me I will ****ing gut you from a tree branch.

Nah. It was Berserk. I spent 10 volumes looking for a fawk to give about anything going on.
Pretty though. Except Guts sometimes has a really dumb look on his face.

That it's 90% rape and stuff, lol.
Oh I thought you meant awful things as in the writing. I only read one scene where the rape actually went off successfully(that I recall) since I stopped before the lulz of the Eclipse or whatever and that scene was handled really really well. Very disturbing.

I'm sowwy but I just did not care about the majority of the characters. I liked Puck but since the manga basically becomes all flashbacks for a while he isn't there. I liked Charlotte cause she was funny. And Griffith was cool. But none of the heroes engaged me. Like at all.

You liked Puck and Charlotte more than anyone else (I'll let Griffith slide, he's cool)?
What are you, some kind of limp-wristed pussy?
Why did you dislike all the characters.

Well Puck seems like a nice guy. Healing people, being in a circus, cool guy. Charlotte was just cause she made me laugh. And I actually forgot about Zodd while typing that. I liked that guy. He comes in, curbstomps, and then leaves. But apparently he comes back and does significantly worse(dunno if he actually loses though) so there is that.
The Hawks were mostly just boring. Generic nice guys except for Corkus(sp?) and he was just the typical ass of the team. But I suppose you mean Casca and the hero.
Casca just comes across as a faux-action girl. She beat one noteworthy guy that I recall and he had become akin to Buggy by that point. She doesn't seem to have much of a character besides being a fighter and a girl. She eventually falls in love with Guts but the only reason I can see why is he saved her life a couple of times. Beyond that I dunno, she just never struck any kind of chord with me.
As for Guts that guy just doesn't engage me. Initially he is just a monster("hey kid if you feel bad just kill yourself"😉 and I see no reason to like him beyond him being pretty strong(and dumb since he forgets about his arm canon a lot). Once we start the flashback I kinda start to feel sympathy for the guy since he wants to please that piece of shit Gambino but once that guy is out of the way Guts ceases wanting anything except the chance to fight stuff. This means the only way for this character to engage me is through violence but violence without much of a purpose is not interesting, especially when Guts is rarely challenged to any meaningful degree.
