I'm kind of nervous about it, as I'm actually transferring to a different store, and as GK can tell you, I don't really see myself as being much of a leader-type person (though I can be pretty damn good at it). That and I'll be leaving my friends I work with now.

And I know I'm going to do fine, but it's just sort of hit me now that I won't be working with my friends anymore. My manager told me earlier today that he really doesn't want to see me go, but at the same time we're friends and he wants me to do well and that I deserve the job, even if it does mean leaving that store.

You'll still be in contact with them, right?

Last night I kind of freaked out and started worrying about it, but I'm feeling a lot better about it now. I think it was just because it's very sudden - I was only asked if I was interested in it yesterday morning and then it was like "well, you'll be starting there next week". That's...really fast.

So due to some stupid-ass policy and really poor inventory results (which we're convinced is due to computer error because there is NO way it could have been so off), I'm getting screwed out of my promotion. For the moment anyway. Instead of moving next week like originally planned, I have to wait until we do a re-scan which isn't until next month.
