If you're talking about CGI then yeah, definitely. They should also do this for when certain animes/mangas are turned into live movies too.

Was there ever an English translation of the "Tales of Symphonia" OVA?

I haven't played the game in a while, but the OVA might be good.

No, not yet. The Tales of Phantasia OVA has been translated, though, and I can highly recommend that.

Gears movie will probably suck too...

Of course it will. The plot to the actual games themselves suck.

Sure, I'll check it out.

By the way, were you able to play "Tales of Syphonia: Dawn of the New World"? It's on the Wii, and it looks good.

I haven't looked into it, actually. I'm still trying to finish Tales of Vesperia.

Riviara is a good rpg, if you like character development.

Would you recommend Tales of Vesperia?

Riviera, however, has a somewhat strange experience and item drop system, and I would suggest playing with a guide at hand, otherwise you will most likely end up with a weak team relatively early on.

Yes, I would recommend Vesperia, as I would most Tales games (though most definitely not Legendia). The sound and visual design are superb, and the combat system is even better than Abyss was. I'm not sure about the plot... at 12 and a half hours in, it's unclear if the plot is simply meandering, or if I just haven't yet reached the crunch point where Tales stories suddenly expand to the expected world-endangering levels.

There should be a CGI Metal Gear Solid movie. The live action one might suck.

There are four.

However, they've been mistakenly labelled "games" because the intermissions allow you to play with the movie characters.

*snickers*

And I've never been able to get into the Tales games. I've tried but I keep getting put off.

No I do agree with Riviera the system and linear style can be a pain, that's why I mostly mentioned character development, which i believe to be the strongest point of the game.

Oh and thanks for the info on the game (Tales), I've been looking for a long game recently something to play until the release of Resident Evil 5 as well as in between if need be.

What makes you say this?

Long, elaborate cut-scenes=Good.

Any cutscene longer then twenty minutes= failure.

I beg to differ, the crisis core ending was good, and i believe it was about 25-30 minutes. But i dont know if you count an "ending" as a cutscene ๐Ÿ˜•

Isn't there at least one cutscene in MGS4 that clocks out at about 90 minutes?
