1. Yes.

2. Dumb fun is fun, but it is dumb. It does not make it a better game at all.

3. I disagree. And the cut-scenes are one of the reasons I enjoy the games.

4. I'm not watching that. I said explain.

I don't, and PC is overrated.

1. No U!

2. Your loss, sir. =P There's no shame in dumb fun, games=for fun=thus generatign fun= fun = win.

As a side note, you probably don't drink? It helps you appreciate dumb stuff.

3. I enjoy a good cutscene, but not 90% of the game being said cutscenes.

4: Your loss, Yahtzee > all.

More loss 4 u.

1. Nah.

2. You do not get my point. While they may be fun, that does not make them of superior quality.

I used to drink, don't think it would be in my benefit to go back.

3. Nah.

4. Seriously, how are they similar?

Nah.

Wow, you were serious. o_O

1. ya rly!

2. I get your point, but I think you're failing to realise the joy in simplicity.

3. Nah? I'm not sure what you're nahing. I like cutscenes, just not hundreds.

4 It's the steam punk version of system shock's cyber punk. Strip away the different looks and names and it's really a very similair game, story wise. It's not as RPG-ish though. I'm not ripping on it, but it's somethin' I'll live without.

Ya rly.

1. Nah.

2. No, I am stating that complexity and depth IMO makes the better game than simple fun.

3. Nah.

4. But HOW are they similar?

5. Nah.

Meh.

Looks like and sounds like it can either be really good and different, or so different it sucks.

So it's basically it's a game....err movie but it's a game......anyway it's basically a movie that's on a games console where every so often you press a button, that's the entire game aspect right, or is their more to it?

I don't know. 😐

They have a good PS3 game coming out soon. Heavy Rain.

Well you can't really call it good yet, now can you?

It's more of an art project, in any case. Despite its quality, it'll never catch on with the mainstream.

The best-case scenario is that it will be a good game, critically-acclaimed for its quality, but pan horribly with the consumers.

Exactly, although a game such as that could be of very great quality and could be a good game, it will never really be mainstream renowned.

Just for the record, Heavy Rain is made by the people who brought us Indigo Prophecy. That game was fun and had lots of action. I don't see how they'll make Heavy Rain terrible.

I'm disappointed that "Nintendo Puzzle Collection" was never released outside of Japan, which isn't fair.

I want to play it...

Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit was also very poorly received in sales. It was indeed an excellent game (I have a copy off Xbox Live, currently), it simply failed to make much of a splash.

I liked Farenheit a lot. Very enjoyable...

Anyone who uses the Escapist in their argument is foolish unless they're joking. He's a blithering, biased idiot who's lost in old traditions and goes out of his way to be pessimistic, which just adds to the bias. He's funny, but he's wrong most of the time.

Can you take anyone on the internet in a spam thread seriously? =]

Not much sales, so what? It pretty much means people are missing out.
