Capcom said it didn't matter if RE5 was good or not and yet that game became a success.

just a quick question, me and my friend got in a small arguement. i think that after a good excercise, while your still warm, tired, exhausted, that it would be better for you to take a cold bath. he thinks it would be better to take a hot bath, and by better I mean better physically for the body. whos right?

But if you wanted to, then a shower to match the heat of your body would be the best. A balance of cold and warm. Not to hot. Ice cold though or cold in general isn't really the way to go though. the warm (not entirely hot) water helps relax the muscles. They won't be as tense either.
Voyeur's correct, even though he was probably half way trolling you. [What he described is a good way to get backne.]. You should rest until your muscles recover from the lactic acid build up, then have a warm/relaxing bath. This is because the water pressure can slightly restrict blood flow, leaving the lactic acid in your muscles longer, which is bad.
The solution is a shower, which gets the sweat off your back without applying pressure to your skin and constricting your blood flow.
